I have zero sense of fashion and don't want to pay too much for clothing either. But, A&F was worth it, since their clothing feels so comfortable. Also, I'm usually a Size 34, but here Size 33 is my size. (Probably a mind trick, but my fatass will take the 1 size down. My only complaint is that I wish there was more input or knowledge about pairings. This store is ridiculously dark and the music is way too loud. I went on a weekday and wanted to try something on and had to walk around to find someone to let me in the fitting room. I wasn't sure if anyone who worked there was even on the floor. I wanted to get out of that store as quickly as possible. Headed to the Pheasant Lane Mall today and decided to go into Abercrombie & Fitch. No one told me I would need my MagLite to see; unfortunately I left mine at home. The place was so dark; did a quick walk-thru to look for men's socks, and I couldn't wait to leave. And no. I couldn't find the socks because I couldn't see. My pupils needed 10 minutes to adjust to the light again once I walked outside. Never again. Short Yelp writeup because my eyes are having a hard time adjusting to the light and brightness of my screen. I would like to share (bring to your notice) one of the horrible experiences I have ever had in any store in my lifetime. Store Location:A&F in Pheasant Lane Mall, Nashua, NH Person helping me was: Ariana Employee ID(as told by her manager): 02221133 I had ordered some stuff online last week and I went to return 4 items back to the store (they were just not the right fit & size for me). The person at the counter said let me call my manager as she has the counter keys. The Manager (who was technically not a manager, she just had the keys for the counter), said that"these clothes are AWFULLY WARM, looks like someone just wore them and are returning them", I asked her politely "I am sorry, can you repeat that please?" And she said the same exact words again - "these clothes are AWFULLY WARM, looks like someone just wore them and are returning them". Then I nicely replied back to her-"Excuse me, it's 80 degrees outside, these items were lying in my car since morning, and also I/anyone would not wear these warm sweaters and jackets when it is 80 degrees outside." She said-"Well people do it all the time, they wear it and then return it back. Seems like you're one of those" That is when I thought this is not the way anyone should treat their customers. All the clothes we were in their plastic bags(as they came in the packing) and with tags. She didn't stop there, she said well it is STUPID what you're saying, they were definitely worn by you and now you're returning them. When she called me stupid, I lost it!! I replied back to her (nicely and politely) well seems like the person behind the counter is being STUPID and making a big deal about this return. And as soon as I said that, she threatened me that she is calling the security right now because you (me) just called me (her) STUPID. I stood there calm and quiet and said to her, sure I am waiting right here (at the counter that she was helping me at). And then she said, well I don't know how long you'll have to wait, may be couple of minutes, may be hours.... I said it is okay, I'll wait until you guys return my order and I would also like to meet with your manager, she said 'YES I AM THE MANAGER'(which the other helpers told me she was not the manager, she just owns the keys for the counters) And she threw my stuff and said to me "YOU CAN TAKE YOUR SHIT BACK!!". All the other helpers in the store were telling her to stop talking to me like that, but she never did. She then walked back to the backside of the store, i the meanwhile the helpers had called the manager to come to the store right now. He came in and I explained him everything, but he didn't seem to be very concerned about it, he just said, I am sorry for your experience, you can have these coupons. I said back to him, I don't need your coupons, I need an apology from her, she humiliated me and threatened me, was talking offensively, which is no way to talk to anybody!! I was just here to return the stuff. He still didn't do anything about it..Which is why I am writing this review/experience that we do not get stuff for free that we're asking you to return it for money....I bought it, it was eligible for return, was worth $200, it could have been just a simple 2 minutes task to return it. Also, the staff working there told me that we have heard her saying that "Customers are very rude to her", but after this incident (which wasn't the first one they noticed) we believe that it is not the customers, it is HER. read more

The staff was exceptional and greeted us right at the entrance of the store. The store was well put together and everything had it's own place. I was greeted by at least 2 employees asking if I needed any assistance which was a nice surprise. I will definitely shop here again. (The price is worth the quality of the clothing) read more

Nothing special.Dark, loud,not very attentive staff....I was in there for about 50 seconds and had to leave due to the overwhelming stench of the perfume and cologne.I don't have any respiratory issues , but myself and 4 yr old couldn't deal with the degree of perfume in the air.It was seriously disgusting,I could taste it. read more

Out of all the Abercrombie and Fitch's I have been to this one is by far the nicest. The employees are extremely helpful and friendly and the atmosphere is very enjoyable. This A&F definitely the most neat. The clothes is folded and taken care of while most A&F's have their merchandice tossed in piles all over the place. The Abercrombie and Fitch at the Phesant Lane Mall deserves five stars. read more

I walked into this dark hellhole to just try to find some shorts, but what I came across was an angry employee and overpriced fabrics. So let me spin you a tale: First of all, the second I walked in there no one greeted me or asked if I needed any help, fine, whatever, not so bad. BUT, this one employee kept following me and made it quite obvious that she was suspicious of my every move. I moved on to the back of the store to the clearance section where I met my demise. This blonde haired teenage employee took it upon herself to dampen my mood. I was going for the sale sweatpants all the way at the top of the shelf (very hard to reach, literally you have to be a giant) and when I picked out the wrong size I folded them and put them back, to the best of my ability. This employee was standing next to me the whole time just watching and then said "can I help you with finding any sizes?" and then I said no, to which she sighed extremely loudly and condescendingly said "Ok well could you not make a mess please" and ripped the pants down from the shelf to refold them. After that I just walked away, but I still had clothes to try on, and I knew I was gonna have to ask her to let me into a changing room. So I did, and she seemed to try and redeem herself by asking if I needed any help finding any sizes and offering to put things away, but it became so incessant. She continually knocked on my door and kept asking if everything was going good, she definitely knew she messed up earlier and was attempting to mend her reputation. Anyway, they have kinda cute clothes so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ just be prepared for salty employees who seem like they're judging your life choices. read more
