I placed an online order and it said it would be ready around two hours for pick up. I arrived at the store approximately three hours after ordering and it was pretty jamming with customers and the store looked really clean and had a humongous shoe inventory. I proceeded to get in line and was only the third one back and when I got to the cashier she was so friendly and welcoming and even the second cashier said hello so, I gave her my name and what I ordered and order #. They could not locate my order and at this point the manager came up to the registers and the cashier brought it to her attention. After all three looked behind the counter and could not locate it. The cashier and Manager both went out onto the floor and located the right shoes and brought them to me. I checked them out in the box they were the correct Skechers and off I was. Great experience with a small hiccup that was corrected perfectly. Highly recommend this store. read more

Minus 100. I went there a couple days ago to get a pair of boots that I ordered online that morning. email came back saying they were ready for pickup. got there early for my boots about 9:45am. Sat till I knew they were open. Went inside, had my email. Told them 2 gals, older/younger women with short hair. I was the first one in the store. Went to pick up my ready item. First of all, no good mornings ...nothing. Grumpy face and already an attitude when the older one (my age) opened her mouth. She basically called me a liar when I told her i ordered that morning. Asked for my last name.. the younger girl looked lost and looking for the older ones direction. Oh it couldnt be ready...tried showing her my email. She older one was already irritated that i made her work. The young one found my order...then the old thing asked me for my first time. She shoved the order without any indication it was mine after opening and checking one shoe size. Then shoved it to me...Really? What a b...h..... Seriously... and i was wearing my combat woman veteran hat too. And to think I was their first customer. I will never go back here again. Oh yes and I contacted customer service. If you're ever on your way down to Boston, then make a pit stop here for your foot ware needs. I think this is the closest DWS Warehouse store to Montreal and you'll save mega-bucks buying up your shoes and boots here. Styles can be hit or miss, I'm sure if you live closer and can drop by often, you'll find stuff you like, guaranteed. If on the other hand, you're like me and can only stop here, every so often, pickings might be a bit slim but having said that I've found leopard print ballet slippers which normally went for over $100 reduced down to $17. They carry all the big brand names as well, Michael Kors, Stuart Weitzman, BORN, RocketDog, etc. read more

Customer service was bad. Bought shoes today as a birthday gift for my bf, who was with me. Asked if there was any coupons for birthday and she called manager. She walked away from us at the register. When asked if we can split purchase, she gave us a look and did not answer. She did not want to assist when the card reader/ terminal did not read chip card. Rudely told us to insert our card three times to end up swiping for the purchase. During the shopping experience no help with finding the right shoe size. Sales associates did not want to interact. Over all, made us feel unwelcomed. read more

Recently I purchased a pair of slippers for a gift and at the register asked the cashier if they could apply the 20% off coupon I had seen on a third party coupon app. She quickly said that they were unable to apply the coupon I was referring to because it was on that app. As she was ringing my shoes I checked their website and found the exact same coupon on the top of the screen and showed her that it was the same coupon. She explained that they could use the coupon from their website since it had a barcode and when I asked her if she was familiar with the coupon she said yes. This means that she knew exactly which 20% coupon I was referring to but didn't help me understand that if I had just brought up the barcode on their website I could apply it. I felt this was poor customer service and that she didn't want me to save. I understand that some companies instruct employees not to promote certain sales however the coupon was on the front page of their website, I had later noticed I had received an email about it and she knew exactly what coupon I was referring to and yet didn't offer me any help in savings. This customer service disappointed me as someone who is part of their rewards program and often times shops there regardless of sales and coupons. Unfortunate. The only shoe I have not been able to find here was a navy blue dressy strappy sandal. Other than that, whether I am looking for something or just browsing...I have never walked out of this place empty handed. Great selection of clearance shoes and boots, men's footwear as well. It's all self-service; some shoppers are pigs and leave shoes and boxes and stuffing all over the floor, so be nice and put things away. I'm thrifty, so I always head straight for the clearance racks as soon as I enter DSW. The new DSW has an expanded clearance section--joy! I have, ahem, a large shoe size, so I was really happy to see four whole rows of clearance devoted to those of us who are well-endowed in the foot area. I purchased two pairs of casual flats for $21. One pair was, no kidding, 80% off its original price. I usually can't find anything but drag-queen and nursing-home-suitable styles on clearance in my size, so I already like this new and improved DSW. The rest of the store is a bit different than the former location as well. The different styles (for example, men's casual, women's athletic) are now clearly signed, and there is an expanded handbag section. However, I don't go to DSW for the purses. I go to find deals, and I succeeded today. Oh, and they do accept credit cards--not sure why the business info states otherwise. read more

This place must have a gazillion pair of shoes, at a good price, but the last few times I've been here, I haven't been successful finding shoes I've liked. DSW has fancy dress heels in every style, size, and color, as well as more casual flats and athletic shoes. Tons of sales racks line the back walls, but nothing has ever appealed to me in that section. The store has socks, handbags, boots and slippers, as well as men's shoes. Everything is arranged neatly, and employees are generally pleasant and helpful. Am looking forward for the spring collection to arrive. read more

This is an average size DSW store. The selection is not bad but the staff are very inexperienced. There were long wait times because it took them so long to ring up each sale. One register had two clerks conferring and they still couldn't figure out the computer system. It was a Sunday and at least one senior person should have been on duty. read more

Four stars for the selection and cust service...one star taken away for shady marketing... They want your email so they can send you something that says MONEY OFF or SALE...buuuut the fine print says online only. Hack for that? Order it online, have it shipped to the store (most times they have it in stock) and return to the store if not satisfied (just don't wear them outside;) read more
