It's currently undergoing a huge renovation. Existing businesses are still open and operating. These include the Whole Foods, Verizon Store, Chipotle, Jersey Mikes, Frank's Pizza, America's Best Contacts and Glasses, myGym, dogtopia, and Mavis Tires. There is a lot of construction right now as parts of the shopping strip are being prepared for a Target anchor store, and a new traffic pattern is being carved out in the plaza lot where newly built free-standing store units will be strategically situated. The new plans will completely refresh the area and bring more activity to this part of town.

In addition, a major redevelopment is underway where Toys R Us, Kmart and various small retailers once stood. Now in April 2026, finally taking the time to stop by, it's enlightening to see this mall transformed to include an Aldi's, additional shopping options, fairly clean walkways, plus some hints of natures greenery revitalizing and improving the area. It is quite the mix! In the summer catch the carts selling iceys or water bottles from a cooler. It gets crowded. You'll hear a lot of Spanish as there is a heavy Dominican population. There are several stores here, including Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, and Applegreen, a quick-grab shop. It's an excellent place for travelers to stop for snacks, meals, and drinks. When I visited during dinner hours, there were many people in the store. I bought a soda from Applegreen and used self-checkout. It was a quick and easy process, and the price was reasonable. There was a store clerk tidying up the store and helping a customer with snacks. Overall a very nice service station.
