Really cool wine and liquor store (Stew Leonard's) which counts for 2 of the 4 stars ;) There are very clean public rest rooms too! The food outlets are as follows: Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza - Want to try it, looks pretty cool. Cupcake Cafe - looks ok for coffee, cupcakes don't float my boat so won't be partaking! CUPS Frozen Yogurt - May give it a whirl. It's Greek to Me - Busy place will try as I love Greek food. Joe's Crab Shack - Looks like a tikki bar could be worth checking out. Moe's Southwest Grill - Don't think so! T.G.I. Friday's - Not my cup of tea. Zinburger - I'd like to try this one. The retail stores are pretty generic, nothing exciting, even though I must say that Charming Charlies is merchandised really well! There's also a massive gym to work of all those calories after eating here!

AKIRA has become one of my favorite stores because I can always find something unique to add to my wardrobe, those pieces that are just a little different and make an outfit stand out. And while I'm doing my thing at AKIRA, my husband can always count on Macy's to find something new for his wardrobe too. So basically... we both leave with a bag, we're both happy, and everybody wins. And we're frugal shoppers. So safe to say we always get a good sale. At this point, a Garden State Plaza trip just isn't complete without these two stops! And of course you gotta feed the belly so this particular trip we went to Carlitos and got our taco fix and you can't go wrong with tacos, especially at Carlitos. They're always so friendly and accommodating.

I don't know if it's because of the Soccer World Cup 2026, the fact that it's Saturday afternoon, or the sweltering heat, but it is incredibly crowded. I came straight here after work to check it out because I have movie tickets for the cinema located inside. I arrived a bit too early, so I'm going to walk around and explore the place, and I'll let you know what I think later. The air conditioning is holding up well against the massive crowd. I'll share my thoughts on the other places I visit later on. I can see a variety of spots here, though--places like "Carlitos BBQ taqueria", as well as coffee shops, pretzel stands, dessert spots, a Macy's, ramen restaurants, and more.

Because of that, I didn't know there was a Spencers for years (not that I was looking for that store, but it's just interesting that I never knew there was a pretty well known store in a corner for years). The food court is pretty good with a wide selection of items and this one area between the center of the mall and the food court hallway occasionally switched out. Store prices vary and the mall can't really control that, obviously, but there's a good variety of stores with their ranging prices so that you can find your preference. I only know of one bathroom area and while it's pretty big, it also feels hidden and is inconvenient if you need to go from anywhere besides the center of the mall. Also, there's great parking and a bus stop for commuters. There's also other stores located in the same area but not in the mall which is convenient for a variety of reasons.

They have just about everything on a shopping list so it fits your needs. The Bath and Body stores are good as is Hot Topic and Tates Menswear. The JCPennys is good too. Across the way is Dicks Sporting Goods. There are a couple movie theatres and plenty of food options. CAVA just opened near the Dicks as well. Parking is plentiful but like anyone else I'm jockeying for spots close. It's usually pretty safe and there are plenty of security guards but just be careful going to your car at night. A good mall.

So believe me when I tell you that this is BY FAR the worst, most frustrating, awfully thought out place I've ever had the sheer displeasure of experiencing. From the asininely narrow and sharp entrances, to the tiny, far too few parking spots, to the four way intersections that barely have enough room for cars to pass each other, everything about this place is a nightmare. The fact that everyone (understandably) becomes hyper-aggressive while trying to find a spot is just the icing on the cake. Please, if you have ANY other even remotely reasonable alternative stores to go to, go to those other stores. As far as I know, each store here has another location within 10 miles (at most). Do yourself a favor and go to those other locations. Seriously, avoid this place at all costs. Though if you ever drive down Rt. 3 West you'll curse its name anyway because of the traffic it causes to back up onto the highway. I'd rather go to the Garden State Plaza on Black Friday. That's how bad this craptacular bastard of a shopping center is.

The decor, lights and fixtures had a serene feel. This mall is huge. I happened to enter on a more quieter side. I strolled through the section of the mall I entered in and was in complete sensory overload because its so much to see and the stores were abundant. There were plenty of resting areas in the mall and of a more luxury appeal. This mall boast of an indoor amusement park. The park is not in my opinion work the cost. It appeared that Nickelodeon portion is a separate fee from the waterpark portion. The amusement park portion was in a more crowded and busier portion of the mall. Covering the entire mall didnt seem feasible in one day. I will get back another time as it is huge.

We also was able go on the Ferris wheel that overlooked Manhattan. I also finally found the World Cup soccer ball from the Addidas store. American Dream is a place that requires multiple trips! Parking was easy peasy. I paid 6.50 to park in thier parking lot.

Today was the day: I was going to go into the beyond, and see the rest of what Paramus Park had to offer. And to be honest, it offered very little. As I ventured through the entire Mall, in maybe took me 15-20 minutes in a relatively comfortable pace, and it SEEMS 1/2 open businesses, and 1/2 shuttered-closed businesses. I like a quiet mall. I avoid malls on weekends for this reason, but this wasn't just quiet, it was strangely quiet. I've just experienced a mall past it's prime. Odd. I would've loved to see it in it's glory. There were more people in Stew Leanords (probably) then the entire mall put-together. Thank god for that supermarket to choose Paramus Park for its location! While many mainstay stores have left, they have a few stores still that could make it worth a visit: uniglo, stew Leonard's, LL Bean, etc. The food court upstairs has far fewer options now. The one thing I've always liked about this mall was that it was easy to navigate and hard to get lost in, unlike its sister the Garden State Plaza mall. Plus parking is super easy in comparison as well because of far fewer patrons. Management also seems to have kept up with the mall's maintenance and decor even with fewer tenants. No tax on most clothes and shoes in NJ so that's always a plus! You won't likely find everything you need here but if that's not an issue, not a bad mall at all.
