The mall is fairly big, with two floors, carrying a lot of familiar brand stores, and even ones that I'm sure some have never heard of. The interior has a modern look, which I'm sure had its renovation done a couple or several years back, but adds up looking clean and nice. It's in no condition of being a dead mall, despite there being a couple of closed stores, specifically anchor stores that don't exist anymore (pretty much all malls these days). The food court has a number to offer, with some of its usual eateries and a couple of ones that will blow your mind. Plenty of tables are provided to fit many people. For restaurants, there are Red Robin, The Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Chang's, Muldoon's Steakhouse & Pub, and Chipotle Mexican Grill. I wouldn't mind coming back to this mall, but won't be anytime soon due to how far I am.

I've only parked in one of the outside lot spots, and not in the deck (see Howard's review - is that still the case in the garage?). Knock on wood, I haven't had an issue/situation so far. I remember what that corner of S. Livingston Ave and Mount Pleasant used to look like before the town center. It's nice to see that area evolve and grow over the years.

Today was the day: I was going to go into the beyond, and see the rest of what Paramus Park had to offer. And to be honest, it offered very little. As I ventured through the entire Mall, in maybe took me 15-20 minutes in a relatively comfortable pace, and it SEEMS 1/2 open businesses, and 1/2 shuttered-closed businesses. I like a quiet mall. I avoid malls on weekends for this reason, but this wasn't just quiet, it was strangely quiet. I've just experienced a mall past it's prime. Odd. I would've loved to see it in it's glory. There were more people in Stew Leanords (probably) then the entire mall put-together. Thank god for that supermarket to choose Paramus Park for its location! In any case --- it's a decent visit in the "land of malls".

While many mainstay stores have left, they have a few stores still that could make it worth a visit: uniglo, stew Leonard's, LL Bean, etc. The food court upstairs has far fewer options now. The one thing I've always liked about this mall was that it was easy to navigate and hard to get lost in, unlike its sister the Garden State Plaza mall. Plus parking is super easy in comparison as well because of far fewer patrons. Management also seems to have kept up with the mall's maintenance and decor even with fewer tenants. No tax on most clothes and shoes in NJ so that's always a plus! You won't likely find everything you need here but if that's not an issue, not a bad mall at all.

My first visit, a few months ago, I was so pleasantly surprised by how much they had packed into that store but yet it didn't feel chaotic. Even visiting just before the holidays you'd expect the place to be a mess.. not this one! All the good stuff is there... pillows, fluffy bath towels in every color, photo frames of every size, dishes, baskets, and some crazy furniture pieces. And of course it's all at the price point we know and love. Bonus points for the fact that this location is (a) easy to get to right off of 46, (b) next to a Marshalls, and (c) offers plenty of parking.

I'm optimistic that more businesses will set up shop there, perhaps even some of the artisan vendors or activity spaces that Monique suggests in her review.
