My friend who recommended them was equally pleased with them. £40 call out but no more labour charges. If they need to order parts they'll come back and charge you for the parts but not for fitting them. My machine was fixed for parts he had with him so I paid the £40 plus money for parts plus VAT. It seemed fair.

Called about a broken oven and within an hour he was there and an hour after that the problem was fixed. Price breakdown was ~50 labour, ~35 parts (a new element) and the obligatory VAT which seemed reasonable, but I didn't shop around much. Only downside to the service was that they'll only turn up on the day that you call them. They don't do appointments in the future (not certain what happens if they need to get special part of you agree to finished the job the next day). Note on payment. Cheques are accepted up to the value of your cheque guarantee card, but not over, you may be asked to write multiple cheques or make up the excecss in cash. Despite these two minor niggles I'm keeping their business card pinned to the noticeboard for future emergencies.
