For a long time, walks…read moreand outings were difficult because he would become very reactive whenever he saw another dog. Taking him places and enjoying walks together honestly felt impossible. We decided to enroll Paco in Sit Means Sit, and we are beyond grateful we did. Matt has been absolutely amazing with Paco. He is patient, knowledgeable, and truly cares about the dogs he works with. He always took the time to answer my questions and made sure I had the right tools and guidance to continue Paco's training at home between sessions. The transformation has been incredible. Paco now comes when called the first time, sits in place, and best of all, walks calmly right next to me. He no longer pulls, jumps, or walks out of control. I'm finally looking forward to taking walks with him and can't wait to continue seeing his progress every day. Huge shoutout and thank you to Paco's amazing trainer, Matt!

Well we are two weeks in with our doggie being home and having done a week of Board and Train with…read moreBrian. Prior to SMS, we were having issues with confidence and excitement. He was charging people and dogs while walking ONLY with me. And growling at and even attacked one of our cats, who for reference was his best friend for ages. They'd even sleep together and played a lot. I wanted Miles to get to training before we ended up with him biting someone was my greatest fear. So we picked him up on 4/20 in the morning and went over basics with Brian. Miles was EXHAUSTED for the first few days. Obviously from all that physical AND mental work. But he was immediately different. SO chill. Completely relaxed. By Tuesday of last week (just three FULL days after being home, almost 4,) I was already able to walk him and get Heel, Sit, Down and no reaction to people OR dogs passing with just a 1 tap on the remote. We started with a 3 or 4 the first few days.Miles regularly does GREAT with just this level. We went back on Friday, 4/26 for a session to follow up with Brian. We were VERY pleased with Miles progress as was Brian. We worked on the heel to perfect it and also Tie down, the leash stand and reviewed a few questions. Because Miles was doing so well, Brian suggested that maybe he'd do well with agility work. So he set him up a small course, and put him through it. Well Miles did NOT like it. He LOVED it!!! He had SO much fun. And he was doing AMAZING. He caught on SO fast. So fast rbat Brian sent us specs to build the jumps!! We also worked on high object "place." And Brian gave us lots of tips on that. With it only being 9 days since our pickup and 13 days since he started training, I'd say this was 1000% worth this training. We didn't have a BAD dog but a dog that needed some tweaks and some humans that needed help doing it. Now my husband and I look forward to walks and spending time with and taking him places. And Miles therefore gets MORE time with his people. Ellie, our daughter, LOVES doing "place" and commands with him and Jack, our son, is LOVING agility SO much that he and his dad already started building Miles jumps!!! We aren't very far into this but so far 5 HUGE stars. Thank you Brian!!! Also the office staff has been tremendous. They are responsive and kind and great at following up. 9ur entire experience from consultation to two weeks out is excellent!

I've worked…read morewith many different people over the years on behaviors that are tricky to address and after a while I felt hopeless, stressed, and out of ideas. She turned that all around in just a few minutes of working together. But her full weekend retreat took it much further and fundamentally changed the way I interact with my dog for the better. I think of myself as pretty intuitive with dogs, and I already had a great working relationship with my pup, but I still learned a ton about how to read her body language and predict behavior before it happens. Jenna's retreat offers an unparalleled experience to dig into training and make significant progress. It's truly a unique experience and she makes it stress free in terms of safety, logistics, support, and engagement. Not only was it incredibly valuable, but it was also a surprising amount of fun and relaxation! I couldn't be happier to have met her, she has a deep well of knowledge, insight, and empathy, having worked through many of these issues with her own dogs as well. 15/10, couldn't recommend more highly.

Jenna is simply amazing! If you have tried everything else, give her a chance. If you haven't tried anything else yet, start with the best and call her now! I love how the dogs automatically love her, even our little wounded soul who is afraid of everyone. :)

Emily is amazing with our young Boston Terrier- she really speaks dog and teaches their human (me)…read morehow to work with their dog and what to do and not do to get the best results. I've had four sessions with Emily and plan on more because my dog is training to be a service dog and Emily does that, too!

Emily is such an enormous gift!…read more I am owner training my first ever service dog. We spent nearly a year taking constant group classes, focusing on basic obedience, novice rally and agility. I immediately task trained a couple of basics and slowly started working on public access as my puppy grew. Just prior to her one year birthday her confidence seemed to evaporate and I had no clue how to help her as I am brand new to dog training. When I reached out to Emily she responded immediately and gave me multiple options to open communication. We spoke on the phone for over 40 minutes before I ever paid a cent which really amazed me. Emily has what I would describe as a holistic approach and she is so experienced and extremely knowledgeable! Working with Emily is everything for which I hoped and more. She is very flexible working around my disabilities and we trade off handling my dog as needed. Emily explains both the body language meaning as well as how my choices are being received by my dog. She helps me understand not only what I'm doing wrong, but *why* it doesn't work and she NEVER makes me feel bad about my lack of knowledge or my mistakes. She is very encouraging and for each lesson we've talked about where my pain points are as well as when, where and how to practice plus reviewing I need to change/avoid. I've still got plenty of work to do but with Emily as a resource I'm much more confident my dog and I can get through these growing pains. Emily is extremely patient; after a spinal injury I am much slower to process new information and I have habits from decades of horse training that are coming in and are counterproductive when handling my dog. Emily shows me examples as many times as I need and always thoroughly answers *all* of my questions about what/how/when and I always feel like I not only learned a lot, but learned EXACTLY what I needed to move forward in training my dog. It's easy to see results when I apply the skills I learn from Emil resulting in drastically improved communication between myself and my dog. Emily's pricing feels extremely fair; after my first lesson I felt everything I learned was worth the price I paid for four lessons! The one on one attention and having everything catered to our needs is exactly what was necessary to help us move forward and get un-stuck with our training. It's also a huge blessing for us that Emily has so much experience with training service dogs and understands the need for my dog to know how to intelligently break commands if she needs to task. The balance between helping my puppy understand how to look to me for guidance and keeping her confident enough to task for me is tricky, particularly given my total lack of experience. Emily understands my goals and concerns and has tailored all of our training perfectly! I have learned so much and am excited to continue working with her and my dog. Hiring Emily is one of the best things I've ever done for my dog. I can't recommend her highly enough!
