It was a Saturday morning before New Year's Eve and I was concerned I wouldn't get it serviced before everyone closed for the holiday. I called first thing in the morning and was given an appointment for the same day. I was told the service charge fee which was very reasonable and would be removed if I had the work done. Larry was very prompt in arrival and took just a few minutes to diagnose the problem with my washer and dryer. He gave me the charge for the repair and said he could have it done the same day. He did an amazing job and I completely felt as a single woman that he treated me fairly and professionally and I had confidence that he was very up front with me and only fixed the items that needed repaired. I have used this company twice for repairs and will continue to use them. They got me on their schedule quickly, called 30 minutes before arriving, and fixed the problem fast. In addition to the dishwasher repair, they gave me several tips to keep it working longer. They even showed me how to solve the problem on my own, giving me a tool to keep if the same issue should occur again. This seemed so down to earth, honest, and considerate when they could have easily kept all of that info to themselves and waited for the next repair call down the line. As a stay at home mom, I have dealt with home repairmen often. I was happy to be treated respectfully, never felt talked "down to", and was completely at ease. Larry responded to a call about my non-functioning washing machine. He was prompt and gave me ample notice about his time of arrival. He was gracious in not complaining about my earlier attempts to diagnose and fix the washer myself, which resulted in the machine being partially disassembled when he arrived. After performing his diagnostics, he patiently explained the problem and answered my questions. I appreciated his straightforwardness and opinion regarding the pros and cons of repair vs buy a new machine (it is over 10 years old). I called around to find someone to come and repair my washing machine on a Saturday and was unable to get scheduled by another vendor until that following Tuesday. Larry is one in a million. Honest, knowledgeable, responsible, trustworthy, has a high sense of urgency and just wants to be fair to the customer. He is a great communicator and explains his thought process and suggested next steps clearly and proactively. He was able to fix my Samsung refrigerator when others wouldn't even try. If they would have, I am sure they would have charged me an arm and a leg or I probably would have had to buy a new refrigerator at the end of the day. I originally called Able and Ready Appliance Repair first thing in the morning and a repair technician (Larry) showed up by mid-afternoon on the same day. He quickly diagnosed the problem and explained the options and associated costs, and gave me his professional opinion of what to do next. I followed his recommendation and replaced the circuit board. Super quick and knowledgeable service. Larry identified the problem right away and explained exactly what he would be doing to fix it. Once he got the part, it was fixed quickly. Plus, he gave me tips to keep it running efficiently and for a longer period of time...(we only had this dishwasher for a year and a half before the pump went out.) They arrived promptly to repair my washing machine. After a few minutes of diagnostics it was determined that it would not be cost effective to repair my unit. They charged a more than fair call fee and advised me on what in their opinion would be a good replacement which I promptly went out and purchased.
