It was Roscoe Roofing (SJBS Construction). Sal came right over to give me an estimate on my leaking roof. Other contractors each told me something different as far as what the problem was. Sal took the time to explain that it could be several things and what was needed to fix all the possible problems. He pointed out all the mistakes that were made with the prior roofing job. He impressed me with his extensive knowledge, so I hired them. They showed up bright and early every day, around 7:30, and worked through the whole day. They extended my dormers a foot so they extended over the windows and wrapped and caulked all the windows. I could tell just by being around them as they worked that Sal is a perfectionist and if something didn't look right, he made sure it was re-done correctly. I've had so many bad experiences with contractors so I was very happy to finally get such a competent one. I'm not an expert but to me it looks like they did an exceptional job. And I know they stand by their work because I called them when I had a question, and Sal came over the very next day.

His story line is "I am a Christian, as honest as the day is long, and I want to earn your future business with high quality work". He took 8 weeks to do a job he said would be completed in a week. He said we needed "17 to 20 squares of siding" and never told us if he estimated wrong he could not bring back the rest of it. He charged us $700 a square for the siding, ordered 17 squares, only received 15 squares and only used 12 squares. We were stuck with $2,100 of siding we can't use. Again: he never said he could not return the extra if he measured wrong; and using 12 of 17 means he was off by 30%. He used subcontractors, some of them first-time subcontractors. His son would foreman the work, and always came late and went home early. The excuses for the delays were almost endless; often involving some relative that died or was sick and that he had to leave state. At the end he told one of his employees "the work looks good so I am going to try to squeeze them for more money after the job is done". He told us "I would like some extra money at the end beyond our signed contract because I feel my son did a better than expected job". We only paid him the agreed to amount even though he never sided one portion of the house that was requested; and at the end we had an employee call us asking for some money because he said "Mike never paid me my money". I recommend you use anyone but this company. The owner will act like he knows what he's doing; but in reality he seems like he is new to this. We constantly had to walk around the house and point out the things they got wrong. You end up being the foreman even though you are paying him to be that.

Not only pressure spray washed but hand scrubbed mold from siding, deck and foundation for three hours! I believe I got my money's worth. I will do business with them again!

Zangrilli Roofing Specialist was hired by The Homeownership Center to do grant work on my home. I…read morehad no way of checking what kind of work he did in advance. My roof leaked before he did the work and leaked after he finished the work. A couple of weeks ago the fascia covering over the rafters became damaged from water & ice seeping into it. I did not know anything about the proper way it should be installed when it was done. I only know from what happened since it wasn't properly installed where the damage occurred. The large piece of the wide fascia was not put under small strip of fascia above it to prevent any seepage from pulling it apart. There was bare wood in between both strips. Since it wasn't done properly it was destroyed. It was pulled away from the wood & bent down. The large strip of fascia next to this one was put on over lapping the small strip which became damaged has well. I would take Zangrilli to small claims court if I could afford it. I paid him $8352.00 out of my own pocked for work done that the grant did not cover. Have work done by Zangrilli Roofing Specialist at your own risk

TOTALLY NO INNER COMMUNICATION. ABSOLUTLY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. At this point,,, I would not let them change the screen in my window. It probably would take a year to get done.
