My Realtor gave me a brochure for "Welcome Home" when I closed on my condo. I chuckled thinking I…read morecould never use a packing and unpacking service and, heck, I had a whole month to get out of my apartment. To make a long story short, I had about 20 boxes packed and had to leave for a business trip in few days. I had accepted I would be paying rent and a mortgage for a few months unless I got some help. I called Welcome Home on a Thursday, met with the owner on Friday and was moved the following week. Six workers arrived at 8:30am at my old place. Welcome Home has their own truck and boxes, so I didn't have to have anything 'ready'. They took my house as it was -- and it was a disaster! They were warm and friendly. I showed them what to move and left by 9am. I went to work and they packed up 60% of my stuff AND they unpacked it. I came home from work Thursday night to my new condo, with all of the boxes they packed all set up in the new home. The bed was made, flowers on the table and even my clothes and shoes were organized. It was fabulous!!! Now, there was one hiccup and Welcome Home was wonderful about it. The folks moving boxes missed about 10+ boxes in the basement. It took me 3 car loads to move. I was annoyed and mentioned it to the owner. She was quite sympathetic, thanked me for my honesty and then took a bit off the bill. It doesn't get much better than that!

Toilets left uncleaned , counters not wiped down, dusting not done, and floors barley dry mopped. Wasted $200! My kids would of done a better job. Disgusted I was cheated out of money for such terrible service. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB, and seeking a full refund!
