A knowledgeable staff person examined my ring and saw the bent prong. She took the piece straight to the jeweler doing repairs and in a quick moment, my ring was fixed. One lovingly performed cleaning later I was out and on my way in 15min, treated royally and efficiently. So grateful as I was dreading doing this errand. If I needed a jeweler again for either repair or purchase, I would go there first as their selection was impressive and their service first rate.

Giving two stars because staff were friendly, apologetic and offered to mail them back to me since I won't be home to pick up for three weeks. UPDATE 9/13: I'm home. The clips were not shipped as I was told they would be on 8/26. I had to drive to the store - 30 minutes - to check status. They were still just sitting here. I waited weeks for engraving that never happened. I waited weeks more for shipping that never happened. Not once did the store contact me. Not once did they do what they committed to doing. I will not, again, work with this jeweler.

We were not looking for anything specific, but I found two great gifts and something for myself. One gift was a decanter tag that looked to be hand-stamped. The second was a key ring with a metal tag kind of like a thick spoon handle with "Believe Science" stamped on it. I also found a leather bracelet for myself. There were a lot of interesting items in this story including jewelry, hand towels, cards. It was fun to explore. The owner was very friendly and engaging. I'm glad we stopped in and I was able to bring back a piece of Belfast.

The staff is helpful but unintrusive; if you want pants to match a shirt they will scour the store until they find exactly what you are looking for, and then leave you alone to shop your heart out some more.
