From the beginning they responded quickly. Alena is who I worked with directly in terms of the design of our cabinetry .. she came to our home and was very friendly. She measured and double checked her measurements, suggested ideas and worked with me on what I was looking for- we went back and forth via email for a few different design options and was always quick to respond when I had a question or concern (which was often because I'm a worry wart) Has something ever seemed too good to be true so you are just waiting for the "bad news" to hit? That's how I felt- everything was going too smoothly- too easily and too right to be reality. I have delt with other companies and that's always my experience- if the start is great the product is terrible or the install- always a little something- but not here! I can honestly say I'm shocked. They were fairly priced- quick & easy to work with the entire process. Down to the installation- I am thrilled with the resulting product, quality & professionalism from start to finish. I have been and will continue to recommend this company- I am also now on a search for more projects because they left my home more functional and more beautiful than it was and I want them to somehow touch every room in my house! Seriously, I can't thank them enough & once the room is finished I will gladly post the picture- I just don't want the surrounding to distract from the beauty of their work :)

We took on a big backyard renovation this summer using Gappsi in Smithtown. We were nervous and kept putting the job aside out of fear of something going wrong and knowing we would be spending a large amount of money. We felt at ease with his wealth of knowledge, and especially after visiting jobs completed by Gappsi, we knew we were in good hands. We also were impressed with his level of patience and how he answered every single question we had and never rushed us out of his showroom (he even met us on a Sunday when the showroom was closed). Our planning began with having to remove an existing disaster of an old pool surrounded by patios and fencing in an upper level of the yard; we would be faced with new grading issues and also trying to savage some trees we didn't want to lose. Giuseppe planned every detail meticulously and reassured us the job would be done perfectly. Finally this summer, a year later, we put in a new in-ground pool and surrounding patios. The backyard was designed and transformed into a beautiful setting, and we absolutely love it. It gives us a feeling of being away on vacation! The stone is absolutely beautiful that we picked at the show room, and the workmanship is perfection. The workers showed up every single day, weather permitting, and stayed very late. They all worked very hard. Giuseppe has a lot of patience and any question/problem that would arise would be discussed almost immediately and rectified. I highly recommend Giuseppe's expertise when it comes to masonry and design. We couldn't be any happier with our backyard. We used our pool more this summer than in the past 18 years! Everyone who comes over immediately comments how beautiful the yard looks. If we have any other work to be done, it would be hard to go with anyone else! If you are thinking of using Gappsi, you are making the best choice!

His visit was quite pleasant, so I felt lucky/confident that I'd get the work done without having to look all over Long Island for a reputable company. Alas never heard back. I left him a message, to which he responded via voice mail saying "I haven't forgotten about you", but again never heard back, even after I phoned him a third time. Called the office about two weeks ago (now August), left a voice mail, and a lady from the office phoned me and said she'll have him call. Still waiting. Time for me to move on.

Terri and Brian in sales are wonderful and provided an efficient quote and clear answers to my questions. The installation team of Brian K and Jeff B are wonderful with Brian K being extremely diligent in his work as well as patient and polite. One of the glass panels was slightly chipped (noticeable only very slightly) from the manufacturers during shipping and Terri arranged for a replacement right away. Brian and Jeff came in a second time and reinstalled it with a smile. I realized when they came for the shower enclosure measurements that Clear Image was also the company my condo's landscape company had used when they had broken my storm door with a pebble that was flung by the trimmer while cutting the grass. Clearly (no pun intended), Clear Glass is doing something right and in my opinion the best when it comes to glass installations on Long Island.
