Mike came put me at ease and went through the process with me with clear instructions and what I had to do before the tenting to get ready. The crew came did their job very quickly and they spoke to me about the process and when I would be able to return. I happened to come by and see my house and they were there taking the sign and tape off. The driver said everything was good and I can get in. I didn't feel violated that people were inside my home without me there. Everything was as I left it. Nothing was moved opened or missing. I cleaned before I left and then I came back it was just as I left it. The company I had who didn't do the job was the total opposite and I felt like my house was dirty and violated everything was opened grass and dirt was everywhere and furniture was pulled out. Just not a nice feeling. I'm very happy with the outcome and the entire process. It was also a little less expensive wich is nice being a widow with very little income. read more

Above and Beyond Pest Control was above all other price quotes by $400. The representative that called me went beyond his way to be rude. He talked over me the whole time. Misunderstood what I was saying and continued to argue with me after I tried to explain things. He also jumped to conclusions without even seeing the property. He repeatedly stated his certification and how only him and one other person was highly qualified in the area. . Maybe this company is worth the extra money. Maybe this guy really is the best in the business. Maybe he can diagnose from a distance. Maybe he had no bad intentions in getting loud or talking over me. In the end of the day, almost all of them send out there workers to do the job and they typically use the same products. I'd rather save some money and work with someone who treats me with some respect. read more

My husband placed a call for a bee nest issue and Lettie (not sure how to spell her name) was just tremendous offering us a referral to take care of this particular issue as they do not. She called us back with a warning about attempting to cut the hive down ourselves and had a bee specialist company call us right away. Fantastic customer service and definitely Above and Beyond!! I had Noel as my Tech he knew what chemicals my grass needed everybody always gave me complements on my grass. When he left from Above & Beyond my property went downhill with the new techs my grass looks horrible the techs was going to the wrong property and office was billing me which for months they were not here. When they fertilize my plants they killed a lot of them which I sent photos to the office so they can see plants and conditions of my grass the office never called me back!!! So in my opinion Company does not care about their clients.If anyone knows where Noel is now working if in the same business Please tell him to come by and leave me new information. Very disorganized and unprofessional .They do not properly train their technicians.They used wrong pesticides on several occasions.The owner is very hard to reach.He is very kind and apologetic when he talks to you,but when it comes to correct the problem,it takes him weeks to correct it.The technicians work is sloppy and they will damage your property with the chemicals.I would not recommend them. read more

Not only is this THE worst pest control company in the universe, but they are also the highest-priced and most dishonest. I hired them and watched my yard, trees and every bit of vegetation quickly get eaten alive and all but lost my lawn, hedges and huge banyan tree! I would call them and they would give me every excuse you could imagine! They would come and send me huge bills, but bugs, fungus and weeds got way worse after they left. I let them give me excuse after excuse for over 6 months with no results while watching my whole landscaping get eaten alive. Finally after my yard man told me I was going to loose my huge banyan tree and my whole privacy hedge because of white fly, I hired someone else who was 1/2 the price and you could immediately see everything start to green up and come back to life. It was a close call though, if I had not fired them I would have lost my entire landscaping within a matter of another month! I actually think that Above + Beyond uses just water instead of chemicals because after 6 months with them almost every tree, bush, plant and my whole lawn was destroyed. Warning!!! Stay away from this company unless you want your landscaping to be destroyed. They are a disreputable company!!!! read more

We had dry wood termites. I called a neighbor who had experienced them as well and used Above and Beyond to tent his house. The salesman (Christopher) came out and was terrific. Very professional and attentive. He went over everything. We discussed our DirecTV dish and our rooftop antenna which he said were no problem at all and would not be touched. We realized we'd lose some landscaping and that couldn't be helped but he was very honest and straightforward. He gave us the schedule of tenting on Friday, removal of the tent Saturday and all clear for us to go back in on Monday (normally would have been Sunday but they don't work on Sunday which we accepted). He provided a proposal/contract which outlined a price for the treatment and an add on since he said they needed to use a crane. Both separately listed on the contract. Well, they didn't call on Friday as explained and so my wife called them at 9am. They said they had one job in our area before us and would probably be to us by 11am to noon. And they would call when on their way. When they hadn't arrived at 1pm my wife called them again and was told they would be to us by 2pm. They finally arrived at 2:20pm with no crane in sight. Saturday came and went with no tent removal and when we called the office we got no answer and no call back. We called Christopher and he assured us everything would be on schedule. On Sunday morning they did arrive and remove the tent (a day late). On Monday we called to find out when they were coming to "clear the house" and were told between 2 and 4pm. We called the office and again at 4:45pm and got no answer or call back. Again we texted with Christopher (who again was terrific) and he assured us they would be there on Monday. Well, at 8:01pm the man finally arrived (with no call to us) and cleared the house. Fortunately we have cameras around the house and I saw he was in the driveway. They never did use the crane but said they wouldn't credit the contract charge for the crane since they would have charged us a "loading fee" for the guys to carry the tarps to the roof which would have been the same amount. Also they knocked off my antenna on the roof and screwed up the alignment of my DirecTV dish. They were to have put on the alarm and do some other things which didn't happen either. SO, Christopher was great but from there the office and crews didn't perform OR keep us informed as they should have or as common business courtesy expects. At this point I hope the termites are dead! Finally I spoke to Christopher and explained how we were unhappy with what happened. I told him I'd be happy to talk to the owner if he would like to call. I have never heard from anyone there. Telling. Thanks to Christopher, you were the bright spot in the company. read more

My complex has used Above And Beyond for pest control for almost the entire time I've lived here. My first contact with them was for pest control of roaches since my complex had left us with no service for about four months. That was about seven years ago and I still have roaches. My latest encounter with Larry the owner Who is very rude and abrasive was for eliminating a bedbug infestation. I've never had such a rude & nasty conversation with anybody who works in a customer service business. They insisted that they only done one spraying but they had done two. Basically made out to be a liar. I don't know who in their right mind would want to keep bedbugs and lie about service they had received. I was very willing to let them come in and do the third spraying even though it was not necessary but I informed them that I was going to have a appointment that day in text and they needed to come before 11 a.m. along with a call from the service person when they were coming. Not only were they not there before 11 a.m. but I was told by the service person that he was never informed of any of my request. I will never use them for any reason once I leave this apartment complex and I suggest no one else does. They have no idea what customer service is or how to treat people. read more

Had a critter problem. They responded that day and stayed with me until it was gone. Greg, Chris and Bryan were terrific. Checked everywhere...and unlike most men, they listened. Climbed in and out of small creepy crawl spaces, checked every opening possible on a multilevel roof, and even trimmed palms hanging over my roof. Cannot say enough. They are great. I used to be on a monthly service and they moved me to every other month with no discount, but now that they decided they should come every month, they want to raise my price. 5 STAR service, customer knowledge and professionalism. My tech got to the bottom of eradicating my rat situation in my villa. I had a previous service that could and would not go above and beyond their normal services. My tech went into the attic on the roof took pictures and figured out where they were entering. He set traps, came over every 2 weeks and knew exactly what he was doing. He kept all his appointments and completed the job. It took him 1.5 months to completely eradicate the situation. He knew what he was doing and it's very rare in FL that you can find honest, knowledge and professional services. I was very lucky to have had him in my dire needs. I would highly recommend using their services because they know how to do their job and his customer service and staff were very pleasant to deal with.
