They came by on may 5th as they said. Never heard back from them until may 23rd when I called them. Quote still wasn't ready.

The problem is I never got to use their service! After a number of e-mail exchanges just trying to set up an appointment to get an estimate, I gave up. Communications is poor at best and if they're that busy--just say so and I'll understand but don't keep telling me " I'll get back to you" and never do. Can only speculate their actual work is just as poor/unreliable so have moved on to another tree service. read more

I got several quotes to have a small tree removed. While every other company came out within 24 hours with a quote, Above & Beyond couldn't come for 6 days. OK, fine. But every other company showed up at the specified time or a few minutes early. Above & Beyond set the appointment for 2:00 & he showed up at 3:50. Every other company said they could remove the small tree within the week but Above & Beyond said it could be 4-6 weeks. Every other company gave me the quote on the spot. Above & Beyond had to email it to me for some reason. But he did say I'd have the quote later that day. It never came. I can't even say how they compare price-wise since the quote wasn't emailed as promised but the rest was surprising given all the positive reviews. Edit - I finally heard back from them in a voicemail where they said they had already seen this review and that a 2:00 appointment with them really means sometime within a couple hours of that time. They also confirmed that it could really be as long as 4-6 week wait time depending on their schedule. There was no mention as to why the quote email was never sent that day. Then later after that voicemail a quote came via text message which was comparable with the others. Adding a star for at least getting back to me. Perhaps they're just much busier than the other companies. Good problem to have I guess. read more

They could have been worse I just can't imagine how. No scheduling, spotty if not horrible work, totally maimed a large conifer to the point that it may have to be removed and replaced. Uprooted and apparently discarded a bush. Total Yahoo's as in Gulliver's Travels read more

Above and Beyond is the best! We had a large high limb partially break off during a storm. I had a few estimates but Above and Beyond was the most reasonable. They were prompt and efficient and did great work. They cleaned up the surrounding area. When it came time to have the exterior of our house power washed I again got a few estimates. Knowing the fine work they did with our tree work, I decided to go with Above and Beyond. Once again, they were great! Sadly a recent tornado came right through my neighborhood and tore apart two very large trees in my yard. I got a same day estimate for tree removal and they did the work the next day. Fantastic! Expedient! Won't ever get another estimate. Above and Beyond is my 'go to' business!!!! Thank you for a job well done. read more

We highly recommend Above & Beyond for tree removal. They took 6 of our trees out in one day for a great price. They were extremely efficient and were very conscious of our property and not damaging anything in the process. You can't even there were trees there after they were complete. I strongly suggest you NOT hire Above and Beyond to clean windows or power wash. Their work ruined many of our windows and devastated a lot of our landscaping. The window washing process infiltrated our double pane windows and turned them permanently cloudy. Although we were told that their products are nontoxic to plants, the plants underneath the windows and those next to the walkways which were power washed, turned brown and died within two days. Also two sprinkler heads were broken. The company claims that it is impossible that their work caused this damage, and takes no responsibility. If you don't want your property ruined, do not hire Above and Beyond. read more

Caleb and his crew removed our Huge Ash tree that was dying. They came within a week after the initial quote and assessment. They worked quickly and carefully and had the entire tree down and stump ground before the end of the day. They came the following week to plant two trees for us as well. We are very happy with the service we received. They had a fair quote, high quality of work, and were easy to talk and work with. Not to mention they are insured, which made us feel more comfortable with them handling such a large tree so close to our house. I would highly recommend Above & Beyond for tree removal! And based on my experience working with them I would recommend them for any job. The owner, Caleb, was very informative and made sure we were taken care of from the initial estimate all the way through the completion of the job. The crew came in with a solid game plan on how to handle our large job of taking down 4 large trees and 2 tall Thuja Green Giants. The largest tree had limbs growing into electric lines so they took great care with that one. The crew was professional and very competent. I also believe the game plan worked so well because they had the equipment and experience necessary to take care of it all. They worked all day until completion and left us with a lawn free of all debris, stumps ground and spots filled with topsoil raked and ready for grass seed.
