we've had a tough time getting anyone to come out and provide quotes for some major landscaping projects (between $10-15k). Foegley's sent someone out who took some sketches and within a week, we received an estimate for 2 separate projects: landscpaing and bush replacement in the front and some stone planters in the back. The problem is that the estimate just had a list of plants and associated costs and, not being good at imagining what these would look like when planted, I asked for some type of visual representation, I was informed (understandably) that they cannot just provide free designs. I completely agreed and asked if I could pay some type of a design fee that would be put toward the work if I chose them for the project. The representative said this would work and to call the office and pay a $150 fee for a 3d model. about a week after I paid, I received a model only for the stone planters and nothing for the plants in the front, which was the bulk of project. When I responded if they had the model for the plants (which was really the only thing I was having a difficult time envisioning) I was told that maybe they could put something together that was a representation of what it would look like, but they don't have the exact plants to put into the 3d model. If I would have been told this from the beginning, I would have likely just passed on the $150 fee. I have a hard time believing that they think I would spend $15k and not know what it's going to look like when completed. I've heard good things about their work, but if this is how they do business, I'll have to go elsewhere. Ginger Valley came out and provided some sketches with pictures of what they were planning on doing, which is exactly what I was looking for. read more

Foegley Landscape - this is what they provided. no idea which plants are which - Landscaping Near Me - South Bend, Indiana

When taking my mother and aunt to a drs appt at the south bend clinic on fir road, I noticed a Foegley Landscaping truck plowing the parking lot. My husband is a plow driver, so I know how hard plow drivers are working... I waited for him to make his pass and back up before pulling in the parking lot. The driver proceeded to curse at me calling me every curse word he could think of for my courtesy, including a stupid f'ing B....yes, all in front of my mom and aunt that are in their 80's. Class Act Foegley! I attempted to call your company to report this incident, but no one answered at 4:00 pm in the afternoon. read more

I can't comment on their actual work, but their estimating and initial service is terrible. I had Aaron out to my property to give me an estimate for a variety of items. He said he would send me an estimate. After two weeks I called the main office because I had not received anything. The woman that answered said she would call him. A week later and still nothing. I don't know if they just have too many clients or don't want new business but either way they shouldn't bother wasting my time collecting information for an estimate that they never intended to send. I'm a small business owner myself and I'd be out of business if this is how I handled potential customers. Get landscaping help elsewhere! read more

After calling for 2 1/2 months to get somebody to come out for estimate for work, I have given up on somebody calling me back. I have called 4 times with no response. Maybe it's because I don't live in Granger. Maybe it's because I'm not spending $10,000. Who knows. But not returning phone calls to potential customers, I will be telling people to avoid them. read more

I am disappointed in the service and follow up of this company. After contacting them , Aaron, a landscape designer did come out to our house to review what we had in mind. Prepared to spend upward of $2500 Aaron said he would design a plan and e mail the plan the following week. It has been 4 weeks , and nothing from the company. If you are looking for good follow up and service this may not be your company. If our job was to small for them they should of been upfront and business like , informing us of that. We have reached out to a different landscaper. read more
