We found local company, VistaCraft Landscaping and Design, for our project. They are highly skilled, trustworthy and reasonable. The designer had great ideas, was able to re-use boulders and sheet rock that we already had, maximize supplies, work around our trees, and ultimately created something completely new, low maintenance, clean looking, and beautiful! (And this new turf is nothing like it was in the past! This stuff looks and feels so real! Little dog approved!) The team was professional, dependable, timely, neat, conscientious, and very easy to work with. All really nice people! We would definitely use VistaCraft again for our next project and wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone!

We played phone tag with each other for more than a month to try to negotiate and quote what needed to be done. This was after my husband talked to the crew while they were working at a neighbor's. We advanced and had a plan. The last word we received in voicemail was that it would be about 2 weeks, as we were on a waiting list, and they would let us know when we were getting closer. Over a month later, while I was on a work call from home, I get a voicemail that they'll be there shortly. This was with no prior notice. I still hadn't heard the voicemail at the time when less than 15 minutes later, trucks and crew show up and start unloading equipment - right at naptime for my two littles. When I go out to let them know that we had no notice, that it was not a good time and my husband wasn't home, John was rude and argumentative. He said that he knew exactly what needed to be done and that most clients aren't home when they do their work. I let him know that is not how we would do business and we would find someone else to help us. They all left in a huff and sped out of our neighborhood. Oh, and I should note they showed up smoking on a windy and higher fire danger day - after John had said in voicemail that the two week (one month) wait was due in part to weather, as they couldn't work with high winds. Driving home today from work, I was at the intersection of Nevada and Fillmore that was under construction. The road went from a 2 lane to a 1 lane, so after merging, I did my best to make room for anyone trying to make a turn without interfering with oncoming traffic; might I add there was not much time to merge, but that's beside the point. A red work truck with a trailer with the name "Colorado Stoneworks Landscaping" on the side drove by me and flipped me off. Now for what, honestly have no idea. After continuing down this single lane road, it turned into a 2 lane road so I moved over to proceed past him with every intention of moving on, but nope, he decided to swerve back and forth with a swaying trailer between lanes to prevent me from passing him. A dangerous move in a company vehicle. The biggest disturbance to me was when he took the time to slow down, causing traffic behind him now, and started making sexual faces towards me once he realized a woman was driving. I warned him to stop otherwise I will contact his boss, which I gladly will tomorrow when they open. He gave me a "" and proceeded to continue with sexual faces and to flip me off, while driving and looking directly at me. He then pulled into a Maverick shortly after. So this review is just to notify other customers of Colorado Stoneworks Landscaping, that if you see a red work truck with a driver, whom I assume is the foreman, with longish brown hair (I know, a dull description) just know his scrotum is tucked real far up his own a$$ to disrespect what could have been a customer, let alone a women. If that were one of my employees in my company truck going that far as to swerve with my property, just to be an a$$hole to a women who is just trying to get home with no problems, let's just say that would be an end to his driving privileges at the minimum. I tell you what...I believe I found a winner with Colorado Stoneworks Landscaping. I am a 27 year veteran serving at Peterson AFB, and because of my busy work schedule it was important for to me to hire a company that was reliable, proficient and knew what they were doing. Tannan was the owner and he really cares about customer satisfaction. From the estimate, to the design, then planning and actual implementation the process was extremely smooth. Colorado Stoneworks had all the right tools, along with the experience and skills to meet the customer requirements...it really is great to work with true professionals that take pride in their work! Instead of just replacing the wooden stairs, they actually flared out the design so that the stone staircase looks more integrated with the house...awesome job! In Colorado Springs, there may be companies that charge less...but you get what you pay for. If you want a job done right at reasonable costs, then look no further than Colorado Stoneworks.
