Buyer beware! This applies to their "restoration" services…read more Backstory: we had lumber liquidators install new flooring. Told them many times we have radiant floor heating. Guy only spoke Portuguese... end result holes in the radiant flooring. I get back from work at night basement ceiling dripping. So the contractor from ll called Voda. My experience with voda. In the beginning upon meeting. Seemed very professional. That was about it. They installed a containment zone. Which came down in about a hour. What a waste. Next they rented a dehumidifier and three floor fans from Home Depot. That was it. Upon leaving they said they be back everyday to check. You going to help blow on the wall? After he revisited my house. He gave me attitude that it wasn't hot enough in room. (They used my heater) I told him I'm not running my heater at night unattended. He got semi aggressive so I got mad and made him leave. He didn't come back til they picked up the rental equipment. Home Depot must've emailed em. You pointed fans at moisture. Not much of a job for a $1500 bill. This is a scummy business. I do not recommend. I'll do it for much cheaper

We go 5 star service from same day as the call pick-up to keeping me informed about the cleaning to final delivery where they unrolled each carpet to show the quality of workmanship. They got out years of dog hair and made old stains disappear. We could not be happier. Thank you Voda team for treating us like we were a part of your family.

Very dissatisfied. I urge you to seriously consider calling someone else for help. I'm guessing…read morethere is a reason why this vendor is no longer on USAA's list of vendors to contract with for their customers. Called for water mitigation of an area of about 2ft x 5ft from a small leak from the A/C unit inside the house (mechanical room is on 2nd flr next to a bedroom) discovered on Monday 7/13/2026. I had already started with towels and the tip toe dance to try to soak up as much moisture as possible and put 2 box fans in the room to get the added air-flow. Unfortunately because I was not exactly sure how long the water had been there, I called Servpro on Tuesday 7/14/2026 for a team to come pull back the brand new carpet to ensure there was no mold growth. When I spoke to Deven (sp?), who answered the phone, he was driving and not in the office. He told me he remembered me when I had called the prior month for the water heater flood remember the brand new carpet?). He said he would have Melanie call me to schedule when the crew would be out. Got a call from Jackie who reconfirmed my situation but restated that Melanie would call and let me know when the crew was scheduled. No call from Melanie, but surprise! The crew shows up unannounced on Wednesday morning (I work from home and had no time to prepare for this in advance). They pull back the carpet, inspect it and the pad and see there is only about a dinner plate size of dampness left on the subfloor. They spray a solution to "help prevent any growth" and encourage me to keep my box fans blowing on the area and they will schedule to return sometime after 9AM on Friday to look again and finish up. I specifically asked "does this include a carpet team to put the carpet back in place" as having this small area pulled back is a tripping hazard. "Oh yeah, the recon team can come and get this all taken care of for you." This was such a small project it was even said "probably just the service call fee since we really didn't have to do much." I asked what that runs, and was told " about $100." They left telling me someone would call me to get this on the schedule for Friday. Note about the "small" area - this is my elderly (not far from 100yrs old) father's room, who doesn't see well and shuffles when he walks. This loose carpet is certainly a tripping hazard. Come Friday, still no call from anyone. I called at 11AM asking what time to expect the crew. Talked to Beth, she doesn't have an answer but asked me to hold on and she would find Melanie to get the information. Beth comes back and says she had to pull Melanie out of a meeting but the crew should be here in about an hour, and I confirm with Beth that this also includes the crew to re-lay the carpet. She says yes. The same crew who responded on Wednesday returns and says that a crew to re-lay the carpet will NOT be coming. They tell at THIS time it would be more financially advantageous to me to call someone myself to have it done. Sure would have been nice to have had that accurate information from the beginning!! Here it is Friday, and now since I have to manage this myself, it's not likely that it will be taken care of until after the weekend. But the crew offers to simply just lay the carpet back but would not be able to secure it like it was when they first pulled it back. I decline since clearly, I can simply roll the carpet back towards the wall, but ask that I be contacted by the office to discuss all the issues with this project and the lack of communication. I get a call from Melanie and long story short, she explains there are additional charges that get tacked on to the cost when this contractor calls another contractor for work, so they suggest I just call someone myself to avoid those changes. Fine. As I bring up my dissatisfaction with this entire project, particularly the lack of communication, she offers to see if there is anything that can be done, cost wise to help compensate for my sub-par experience, suggesting maybe adjusting the service call fee. So I ask directly "What is the cost of the service call?" She responds, "$190." I asked her to repeat this because surely I misheard her when the crew said about "$100". Nope, I didn't hear her wrong, she repeated "$190." So today, I receive the invoice for $200.50. Not what Melanie said in our last call, and it sure doesn't look like they took all this into consideration. I call to clarify this and speak directly to Melanie. She informs me that they didn't include a second service call fee for when the crew returned on Friday, nor did they include the normal $250 fee that would have been assessed for pulling the carpet back. So in essence, that 2-day fiasco should have cost me about $650! Clearly this company is not customer oriented, learning what their roughly one hour and a half worth of service could have cost. Call them for help at your own risk!
