There's something about listening to music while cruising along Daang Hari that makes Saturday afternoons extra fun. We already have a routine established: We go to Kitchen Elf for my baking needs, shop at Rustan's Supermarket for groceries (only when the parental units ask that we do it), buy Aboy's Fresh Lumpia to take home, and pass by McDonald's or Starbucks to get food to eat in the car. When there's a bazaar on the Evia grounds, which is quite a regular occurrence especially during the holidays, we happily explore their wares. Evia is pet-friendly, and is quite a delightful place for furry friends as it has a wide space for walking. Stores are limited at the moment, though, so this is not a place to go to for shopping. But the center has something in it for all members of the family to enjoy. If you're looking to hang out and eat in a mall that's not too busy, you may want to give this a try.

I've been seing this ukay-ukay shop for several months before I really paid a visit. And, it's almost across the tricycle terminal where I ride to get home. One time, I was looking for pants and shorts. I needed some, especially for travel. The shop had conveniently arranged certain types of clothes by rack. Bottoms like shorts and pants, for example, were in one rack, and so I looked there. I got two nice pairs of shorts in colors I could easily pair with other clothes - one of them I now use on many of my beach trips. I got one for P100, the other for P120. The prices here are a little expensive for an ukay-ukay, I think, but you can haggle, especially when you buy more than one piece, which is what I did. They also have nice shoes like sandals, boots, and sneakers here. So far I haven't found any of my size which I like but I've seen a few customers happily walk away with shoes that they really like.

I was able to get two Jag pants for only Php 100.00 each, a Fendi vest for Php120.00, several knitted cardigans and shirts for only Php25.00 each, Liz Claiborne and three winter clothes jackets for only Php100.00 each. They have new stocks every month but I advise waiting for a few weeks after the delivery because new stocks are priced higher, so be patient and wait until they have the sale sign out, clothes jumps from Php150.00 to Php 25.00. They also have small ones that have interesting items such as Too Nice, Runway, Red Carpet Shoes, Jazz House of Gifts, Go Ape Boutique, Golden 3 Pet Supplies, Funky Plum, Dainty Bold Accessories, Little Town School and Office Supply and Cosmetics Korea. They have several beauty places aside from David's such as Glam Salon, Lash Stuidio, Luna Dermatologica, Nature's Cradle Spa, Taylor Tyler Salon and Robots & Dolls Kids Salon. BF Homes is a neighborhood abundant with all sorts of businesses (mostly restaurants, bars, and everything Korean), and being a ginormous subdivision, it makes sense that there should be some sort of mall here. Though, Pergola Mall is quite small to be called a "mall". It's mostly Robinson's Supermarket, a food court (with free wi-fi) upstairs, Handyman, some restaurants and a few salons and stores. And, it is worth mentioning that there is a Japan Home Centre here, which is always(!) a good thing. It's a very laid back place to spend a lazy afternoon, or get some errands done. You've got toddlers? There's a tiny playground in the middle, and some benches. You can also bring your pooch. They've also got some zumba/other physical type of exercise on the 2nd floor activity area as well if you're into that. Good food places here include Sophia's, a Mediterranean restaurant.. well actually that's probably about it that's worth mentioning. For cafes, there's a Kopi Roti and a Cafe France. This place has seen better days, and businesses do come and go. But its always been an OK place to grab some groceries, get some quick school supplies (at Little Town) and maybe a quick coffee or two. Or... you know, leech onto their free-wifi like those people who hang out at the 2nd floor food court.
