Daang Hari, a long road from Alabang that's headed towards Cavite, seems to me like a road that easily makes me feel like I'm in the middle of nowhere. But, wait, is that... a MALL?
Yes, of course. We are in the Philippines after all, where there's ALWAYS a mall.
But Evia isn't a "mall-mall" with department stores and food courts and flocks of humans. It's a "Lifestyle Center", and even though that sounds hella pretentious, I like this place. It's quiet, breezy, and laid-back. Good place to grab coffee/tea, get your groceries done (Rustan's), and actually... you just come here to eat, really. There's nothing much else to do. But that's perfectly fine.
Cheap way to enjoy this place? Grab some food at the food kiosks inside Rustan's (check out Rustan's ready-to-eat selections as well. Get hummus! And some brewed coffee at Bibingkinitan), and you can eat your meal outside as there are tables and chairs free for everyone. They also welcome pets in their outdoor area! read more
