I had already filled out the forms online so that saved a lot of time. First, I had x-rays taken and cleaning done by Gina who was very friendly and competent. Then, Dr Espinoza who was also very polite and friendly did the check up and recommendations. The office is in a quieter area of Bayonne so there was no problem finding street parking being that I'm a resident. Make sure you have a resident pass. If you're visiting from another town I would suggest parking on Broadway (metered parking). I'll keep going to Bayonne Smiles for my regular check up and treatment and will update my review afterwards.

He recommended that I finish my braces in NY since I'm almost half way and it would be more cost effective to continue what I already have. (He did referred me to someone else if I insist on having a new treatment with my braces) Either way I needed a primary dentistry in the heights for cleaning, cavities and fillings and it seems like I found the right one!. He was attentive, polite and professional. I did not feel rushed at all and that's a big plus! Their office is small and quiet. It has a calmed vibe to it and I like that is not nois-y. Normal reaction especially as you are getting used to the implements. He said if I kept flinching he was going to send me to someone else. When I asked him to give me a moment to get used to the sensation of the cleaning he refused to continue working on me. I waited 3 months for an appointment and I think its pretty normal for a flinch at times (isn't this part of the process) so why would this person react this way? Perhaps a personal issue spilling over into how he treats the clients. Judging from the look of the staff, they didn't seem surprised about his behavior. He either needs some self care or to not work with Humans in this capacity. This was not a normal experience at the dentist. I feel borderline abusive. They showed no real concern for the urgency of husbands situation or the pain he was in. If you're in severe pain and expecting actual emergency care--as advertised--be warned. They seem more focused on upfront payments than helping patients.
