I even asked if the price was higher due to the holiday, and Tony said it would be the same price any other day. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely frustrating and the job was never completed successfully. Tony struggled to retrieve the key code, and his helper was openly arguing with him and cursing while they tried to figure it out. They even asked if we had the code in our manual. Eventually, they had to leave and go back to their office to get it. There was constant back and forth between Tony and his helper, multiple re-checks of work, and the first key he cut didn't work so he had to cut another. He also couldn't properly assemble the key fob because he didn't have the tool needed to insert the pin and couldn't locate it, so we ended up assembling it ourselves. He was also unable to successfully program the fob. Tony then suggested we just buy the key and fob from him and "maybe another locksmith could program it," saying other locksmiths might have different equipment. The entire visit took about an hour and a half and left us with a key and fob that did not work. Today we called another locksmith who confirmed that both the key and fob Tony provided were bad. He supplied two new key fobs and keys, and our car was running within about 20 minutes. All for $275 versus the $400 Tony quoted. When I politely requested a refund since the service we paid for did not work at all, Tony refused. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend TNT Locksmith.
