Framing has become such a niche specialty that it's hard to find a great little locally owned shop these days, so I'm grateful that this place exists. When I walked in with my print the owner was there and he took the time to spread it out, talk to me about the kind of paper it was on, the best way to choose a frame, and let me explore some different options before we landed on what materials to use. He did let me know about the wait as he is often backlogged for a few weeks/months, and once you drop your art with him you don't pay for it until you come back to collect the finished product. To be honest I considered giving four stars just because it was a few weeks longer than the quote and I had to call a few times to get an updated time frame, I wish they were a bit more proactive on that front as it started to worry me with the cost of the art etc. That being said, once I went in to pick it up it was literally perfect and I could tell that they take pride in what they do. On top of that the owner is genuinely kind and passionate about his work, which to me pushed this place back up into 5 star territory. Overall, it'll take some time, and this store is somewhat old school, but framing is an old school business and it's wonderful to be able to support local and get a top notch product at the same time. In the middle of a panic, late Saturday night, and into Sunday, I started to reach out to local shops, hoping that at the very least someone would reach out to me on Monday, since most, if not, all of them were closed on Sundays. Sure enough I eventually found MOSS Printing, and saw that Jose generously put his personal cell number up for people to reach out to him. So Sunday morning I sent him a message, and within 15 minutes he calls me directly after reading my message to talk over the details. Within five minutes of speaking over the phone, he said that it would be no problem to handle our last second print job for the wedding programs, and told me he'd be in first thing Monday morning to do it personally. After coming in Monday morning on April 17, I met Jose in person, gave him the file for the front and back of the program. as well as dimensions and total amount that I needed, and same day at 4 PM all 150 of the wedding programs were printed and ready to go for me to pick up. They looked great, felt great, and Jose was able to find a nearly identical type of paper to what we had already used for other aspects of the wedding. Throughout the entire process, Jose, exhibited great communication and was fun to chat with as well. If you are in the market for getting something printed, like signs/ programs for a wedding or something for your business. Then look no further than MOSS Printing. They helped us select the frame and carefully followed the technical directions from the artist, who later saw photos and complimented them on their work.
