The week before my wedding day my fiancé and I had our original plan for printing the wedding programs fall through, due to all of the national chain, print shops, like UPS or FedEx, not having the right paper for the dimensions that we were looking for based off of our template, would have taken over a week for us to get them shipped in from their warehouse! In the middle of a panic, late Saturday night, and into Sunday, I started to reach out to local shops, hoping that at the very least someone would reach out to me on Monday, since most, if not, all of them were closed on Sundays. Sure enough I eventually found MOSS Printing, and saw that Jose generously put his personal cell number up for people to reach out to him. So Sunday morning I sent him a message, and within 15 minutes he calls me directly after reading my message to talk over the details. Within five minutes of speaking over the phone, he said that it would be no problem to handle our last second print job for the wedding programs, and told me he'd be in first thing Monday morning to do it personally. After coming in Monday morning on April 17, I met Jose in person, gave him the file for the front and back of the program. as well as dimensions and total amount that I needed, and same day at 4 PM all 150 of the wedding programs were printed and ready to go for me to pick up. They looked great, felt great, and Jose was able to find a nearly identical type of paper to what we had already used for other aspects of the wedding. Throughout the entire process, Jose, exhibited great communication and was fun to chat with as well. The older gentleman that worked there was not very nice to me at all was very rude. My order was small. Maybe that's the reason I came in there about 535. It said yes we're open on the door and the door was open so I went in he found my order and threw it down on the counter and said there you go and walked away and then as I'm walking out the door, he said by the way we close at 5 o'clock. Moss was recommended to me by another printer - I needed stickers printed and the original printer I used wasn't able to do the quantity I needed, so I called Moss. Talked to (who I think was) Jose on the phone - he was SO nice and made me feel confident about the job. Various people and I had a responsive back and forth when they needed a higher resolution from me. I went to pick the stickers up and they were (to me) unacceptably crooked. If the stickers had been on something I'd received in the mail, I'd have said, "...well that sticker is crooked!" Dustin had thrown in 2 more sheets of stickers to make up for it, saying that the bottom three rows had been printed correctly. (The bottom three rows were still crooked, but at least all the words had made it onto the sticker ‍) I appreciate his thinking, and I understand it's not an exact science. On the other hand...you're a printing service.... When I asked him to redo them, the customer service went down a crap shoot. I called a few days later and he'd forgotten, then I called again to see if they were ready. It was like speaking to a monosyllabic, petulant teenager. When I went to pick them up, the gentleman didn't have a mask on. The service could've been excellent, but no mask in month 11 of a pandemic warrants two stars. Maybe they weren't motivated to do better since it was such a small - and not lucrative - order. Maybe he was having a bad day! Maybe it was a lazy effort. It seems like being treated rude by the owner is a recurrent theme when you look through the "unrecommended" Yelp reviews. I had never been to this place before yesterday. I had a USB flash drive of scanned photo album pages I wanted printed. He couldn't have been more condescending if he had tried. Perhaps he didn't like that I was wearing a mask, who knows. I told him I had not done anything like this before and wrongly assumed Jose would offer some guidance/suggestions. He expected me to know exactly what paper I wanted and was so condescending that I ended up leaving. I went down the street to FedEx and told them the same thing I had told Jose and they showed me different types of paper I could use and recommended what would look best. I was treated with kindness, respect, and a helpful attitude at FedEx...all of which were seriously lacking at Moss Printing. read more

I don't think I've had a worse customer service experience in recent years. Although Crystal was courteous and helpful, and Diana marginally so, Jose was downright rude towards me. Further, on numerous occasions I was told "We'll call in two hours," or "We'll call by the end of the day," only to receive no communication. I was even told by Jose (the owner) himself that he'd call me in "two hours" only to receive no call (ironically, he had just reprimanded another staff member for the EXACT same lack of communication). Would not suggest taking anything here. Especially, if it's time sensitive. I brought labels to be printed here for my wedding and they screwed up an entire page ( 10 labels) and suggested I buy extra in case the printer jammed or they wouldn't print the remaining labels. I decided to take the job to FedEx. I went to pick up my labels and they didn't apologize or even attempt to make things right. You would think a printing company would know how to work a printer. Aside from poor work, the customer service was terrible. Jose was not kind and did nothing to apologize for the labels they ruined. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I called the store awhile back and was treated so rudely. I'm sure they do a fine job with printing but the person I spoke too (maybe the owner) just spoke to me like I was an idiot. I needed some envelopes printed. I wasn't even sure if they could do it which is why I reached out. He was so snippy make me feel stupid. I had called a few other shops before and they asked probing questions: how many? What color ink? What size? Maybe I should give this info up front to moss printing guy but as a customer, you don't treat them like crap. A employee can kindly ask for more information. We waited too long so there was a time crunch but she was very accommodating and helpful. The gold foiling they did was gorgeous. I also had very unpleasant experience at Moss printing. From the first day I entered shop (almost had to throw rocks at the guys to get them to look up and acknowledge me) I shouted hello after a few minutes and someone begrudgingly came to the counter to assist me. After email correspondence and quote provided (which they did provide and re-work pricing for me (at my request). I called Jose and asked when a good time to meet to finalize order. He was not there at time asked me to come and the guy left on his own was very stressed with some rush jobs. Ok, I am a reasonable person, didn't have an extremely urgent job and was ok to come back later. To my dismay when we finally met the experience was even worse. If Jose is the owner that is shocking, as a customer (with a substantial order to place) I have never been treated so rudely and condescendingly. I provided professional artwork and very well laid out instructions, for the most part knowing what I wanted. Although, I am not a designer nor a printer which is why you seek a "professional service" right?!!? At the very least I assumed they would assist me with the paper types. As Grace R. stated I was also spoken to like I was an idiot and actually as Jose walked away to get something saw him role his eyes at me. My project is very personal to me as starting a new business and this was not the way I wanted to start out...I did not have a good connection with anyone and in the middle of going over order, just had say thanks very much and walked out of the shop. I too am all for supporting small local businesses which is why I went there. Very sad and upsetting that a small business could care less about new business. I definitely wasn't giving my hard earned money to them and directly went across the street to Fed Ex where I was given efficient, professional and very courteous service. The guys (Daniel & Adam) both went through different paper options with me to reduce costs on some items and actually assisted me!! I don't normally write YELP reviews because I feel like the good places rise to surface naturally, but for this place I had to make and exception. The single worst copying / printing experiences I have ever had. Had multiple services done here and all were terrible quality. The binding I had them do did not even hold until I got home from the store. Half the Pages fell out. The pages were all cut crooked and did not align in the book even though crop marks were printed on the pages. The pages were not in the correct order and some of them were put in backwards. The staff also informed me that the work would be done on Friday and that they would call me that day to tell me when I could pick it up. Friday comes and no call. I go by to check on it and they have not even started printing it yet. They told me it would be done Monday, which was two days late. They also spilled ink on multiple copies of my books and they claimed they weren't sure how the ink got there. The moral of the story is if you need any important copying and printing done, Kinkos is across the street. Avoid Moss Printing at all costs it will save you time, stress, and money. read more

I used this place to print my save the dates and invitations for my wedding. The first time I went in, my save the dates were supposed to be done and they hadn't even been worked on so I waited for close to an hour for them to be completed and once they were done, some of them were cut unevenly. I decided to keep working with them on my invitations and each time I had spoken with one of the workers about having something for me to look at after I got off work, it was never done. The last time I went in, I was basically attacked and felt very disrespected by the owner who wouldn't let me speak and interrupted me every time I tried explaining what was going on. I was mostly upset with this business by the way I was treated, I didn't feel like a customer by the end of it, I felt more like a problem and a hassle to them. Still so upsetting!! read more
