My 8 year old son begged me to see Dr. Jamin the other day. I am a new patient, and had an appointment- my very active son had a very uncomfortable injury that I thought was a tight muscle. Dr. Jamin asked my son several questions and informed me that my son had popped out a rib! He asked my son to sit up, and explained to both of us that popping it in would hurt, but that then it would feel fine. Here are some of the comments from my son after the (successful) visit: "Mom. I have been going to this office for about three years. They have a super friendly staff and the doctor I see is very knowledgeable and has a great "bedside manner." (Dr. Jamin) He is willing to explain anything and goes over x-rays and progress with me on a regular basis. He is willing to try new things and doesn't get stuck in a rut as far as maintenance goes. (which is good for me, I hated my first exercise!) However, he doesn't make switches all the time and always explains why he makes a change. If you ever need a chiropractor, I would definitely recommend this one. read more

I'm the stereotypical CrossFitter, beating up my body and refusing to seek treatment for it. I was raised to believe chiropractors were quacks, and when I tried one a couple years ago for my years of persistent back pain and heard all about subluxation causing all my illnesses, pain, etc., I didn't intend to ever go back. Finally, I went to Dr. White when I hurt my back so bad that I couldn't bend over without incredible pain. By the end of one session, I was a believer. I saw him on Tuesday and Thursday, and by that Saturday I was competing in a powerlifting competition (against his recommendation), just a few days after it hurt too much to put on my pants! Dr. White had me free of pain in a couple of weeks. So then I asked him what he could do for my shoulder; I'd had a rotator cuff issue for about six months that hadn't improved one bit. I didn't even know chiros worked on anything but backs, but in a few weeks, my range of motion was much improved, and I continued to see him until I was almost painfree there as well. Dr Jay is as good as it gets in terms of Chiropractors. I have been going to him for 3 years now and no matter what injury I have he seems to have the fix. Without Dr Jay I would not be able to golf due to a bad back, having him adjust me and give me exercise routines I can do at home have lead to me having the ability to play golf and other sports with no pain during or after. Currently I live in Midtown but have no thoughts of changing doctors, the thirty minute drive north is a small price to pay to go to someone that is so good at what they do. read more

I first we to Absolute Chiropractic & Wellness because of a accident . I had been Leary of chiropractors for years. But Dr. Jason Jamin completely changed my thought process. With out his help after the accident I do not know what I would of done. After this I threw my back out coughing of all things. He set me straight! I did it again 5 months later. I have been seeing Dr. Mark White for over a year now and have had fantastic results! After 2+ years of seeing other chiropractors and physical therapists, Dr. Mark was able to achieve real, lasting relief. At the first appt., he took a detailed history and listened to me about what had and had not worked in the past. He also identified an issue that had not been identified by past practitioners. In addition to an adjustment, he performs deep tissue massage and prescribed exercises that improved my mobility and addressed the root problem (rather than masking it). I have been able to resume my active lifestyle and am once again enjoying running and hiking and look forward to skiing this winter. He welcomes questions and explains what he's doing and why. I have been going to Dr. WHITE at Absolute Chiropractic for thirteen years. At first it was to treat me sciatica, a sharp pain down the back of my left leg which was caused by a severely herniated disk in my lower back. The orthopedic surgeon offered to operate after the results of the MRI came back, but I chose to try a Chiropractor as my first option. I am glad I did, since my sciatica has been "cured" and I haven't had any symptoms in over a decade. I went to several other Chiropractors before Dr. White, and they were unable to relieve the pain from my sciatica. Dr. White used a technique called "flexion distraction" or the Cox method, which requires specific certification and a specialized table. I noticed the benefits of this treatment almost immediately. It took about 1.5 years of treatment to completely correct my problem. I had suffered with chronic pain for 8 years before going to a Chiropractor for help. I was told that the longer you have a problem, the longer it takes to correct it. An acute problem would require much less time to fix. Over the years Dr. White has helped relieve my neck pain, muscle spasms, hip pain, weak hand grip and knee pain. As an added bonus, I usually sleep better the night after getting an adjustment. Saw Dr. Mark White twice over a one week period. I did not see the other doctors there, they may be great, don't know. My experience was so over the top ridiculous that I had to write a detailed review to perhaps spare other people the money, time and trouble. Problems, with Dr. Mark White include: his bedside manor/way of interacting with me made me feel tense and disrespected. Next he is nauseatingly arrogant. For example he tells me what is happening with my back then he brags about it. Direct quote, "Most chiropractors would not have caught that" and "Not all chiropractors are created equal". Huge and fragile ego: He misunderstood something I said, so without correcting him I just politely restated it. He replied in a sharp, irritated tone "That is what I have said!!." He talks boorishly loud. You and everyone in the waiting room can clearly hear his every word, yet you do not hear the patient which lets you know HE is being too loud. At one point he praises Republicans for the "great job they have done". Yes-- he discusses politics (loudly) while treating his patients. The receptionists are nice that was one good thing, however the office over all is off-putting. Partly because they do not just softly play generic, background music like many professional office settings. No--they BLAST Christian music about the "awesomeness of Jesus" (an actual lyric in one song) all day. As a Christian MYSELF--a question: Is music about religion professional or appropriate for a captive audience in an office waiting room? The icing on the cake--your privacy. Forget about it with this guy. He will loudly discuss your meds, health concerns and medical history with all the discretion of a boxing Ringmaster! I went once more. I was desperately in pain and hoping maybe he was having a bad day before or something--nope. Same behavior next visit. I expect ZERO drama when I go to a doctor for treatment. Is that too much to ask? There is NO WAY I should have been subjected to any of that. No one else should either. read more

I have been going to Dr. Mark for years now since I herniated a disc in my lower back. Not only has he helped me with that, but he has corrected problems in my neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists and knees. He goes way beyond what most chiropractors can do. Dr. Mark is very frank and direct. He will tell you exactly what he thinks and what you need to hear. And that's what I want from my doctor. I have referred 10-12 friends to Dr. Mark and everyone has been thrilled with the results. I have tried several other chiropractors over the years, but he is by far the best. Dr. Mark White was responsible for causing great injury to my lower back. He applied way too much force on the side of my back and since then I have constant pain in my left lower back. Wish I had never went there. I also tried a female chiropractor at another clinic but she was not strong enough. I'm still looking and not going to give up yet. read more
