My wife and I had $3500 budget for a 1 week to someplace tropical in December. After spending about 6 hrs each on Trip Advisor, Kayak, Expedia and just about every other site, we couldn't find anything in our budget. I had never used a travel agent before, so I decided on a whim to contact this local agent. They got back to me the same day and the next day I was looking at three awesome packages all under $2500 (their fee included) - and these were much better deals than we were looking at on our own. We ended up going with a Funjet package, which included a direct flights from/to BWI to Punta Cana, Excellence Resort - all inclusive with an ocean front suite. Totally amazing!
