I was informed there would be a $50 estimate fee, which I had no problem paying, but after agreeing to it, I received another call suggesting I may want to find someone closer to my area instead. I completely understand businesses setting travel fees or service areas, but the communication made it feel like my project was more of an inconvenience than a valued opportunity. Just something to be aware of if you are located outside of his immediate area -- you may either be charged additional fees or have difficulty getting service scheduled.
