What a great business. Our garage door wouldn't close and when I finally got it down, it wouldn't go up! I was panicked and went to Yelp for a recommendation. A couple of months ago I worked with Absolute Overhead Door to replace my broken automatic garage door. Their service was timely and professional. Recently after some heavy rains, I realized that the door wasn't quite closing all the way and water was coming in. I called Absolute, and they were very responsive and fixed the problem at no charge. Additionally, they made recommendations about how I could better seal my garage door opening (not necessarily trying to upsell me, as it would be another contractor I would have to hire to do the work). Came home from work this morning to find that both springs on our garage door to be broke. I called Absolute OverHead Door at 8:00am. They were very responsive and had a repair tech at my house in about 40 minutes. The repair tech was very professional and knowledgeable. He had my garage door fixed in a matter of minutes. He fixed the current problem and brought up another problem (about which I was already aware), and fixed it too. Highly recommend this company. I hired this company last year to repair a garage door opener when selling our home. The owner came out and seemed very reasonable and knowledgeable. He told me that the opener needed to be replaced and gave me what I thought was a fair price and a great turnaround time for install. The man who came out to install the opener turned out to be an old classmate/acquaintance.He was foul mouthed and inappropriate when talking to his boss on the phone. He let me know that his boss was just glad to get the hell out of our garage because he hates cramped spaces and that was why he just said replace the opener. We had stored some extra items in the garage for staging and moving but offered to move anything in the way. When I came out once I noticed the guy standing next to the boxes where we had bought a new Dewalt drill and impact driver like he was examining them. There was no reason for him to be there and he said he was looking for a broom to clean up. He seemed to act weird enough that I came out another time to check on him as I had a baby in the house I was nursing and rocking to sleep. I had another contractor in my kitchen working. He was a family friend and never entered the garage. When the install guy left it was right at the time I was getting my daughter to sleep. After he was gone I went into my garage and the drill and impact driver that I had seen sitting there when he was working were now gone. Both were brand new. I called the owner but he didn't believe me. I filed a police report. The guy lied saying that many people were coming in and out of my garage and that I had left it open. Lies. He completed the install but left wires, nuts, trash and boxes everywhere in the garage. So much for his cleaning up excuse. Do not let this thief in your house. read more

The spring on our garage door broke. I call Absolute at 5pm, they came right out and it was fixed by 6 !! The Technician Josh did an excellent job and was very nice and courteous. I highly recommend this company. read more
