Spoke to Travis about a garage door repair. My doors were old, dented, and slightly mismatched, so he quoted new doors. We went for the new doors and we are so glad we did. Travis took care of us, was professional and did a great job. The openings for our doors were not the exact size for the replacement doors- this presented a slight cosmetic problem. My garage door broke so I called a locally owned company to replace the spring. Meg was willing to shuffle appointments to offer a same day appointment but I was not available till later in the week. Day of the appointment, two techs promptly arrived at the appointment time. A couple dozen times, one employee went up/down an eight foot ladder so I was glad the company put safety first by sending two employees to the work site. Even with two employees the cost was very fair. Techs craftsmanship was very evident as they treated the garage door as if it were their own door -- they had the right tools for the job to include answering all my questions related to the process of removing and replacing the spring. My husband is active duty Marine and we are stationed in Camp Lejeune, NC. However, our home is in Radcliff and is rented by great tenants. Recently our tenants told us there was a problem with the garage door and we needed to have someone come out and service it. After calling around to several of the local companies in the Radcliff/Elizabethtown area, I was told over and over that there was a $40 fee just for a technician to come out to the property, and NONE of the companies I called offered a military discount. When I called Elizabethtown Overhead Garage Doors I spoke to Meg, she stated that there was no fee for a tech to come out, and that although they did not offer a military discount, both she and her husband were former military and understood the difficulties of being stationed somewhere and having to rent out your home. She assured me that they would be fair in the pricing and they would take care of us. I scheduled a time for the tech to come out, and my tenants said he was honest, and quick to fix the problem. The best part, I was charged about the same fee to FIX the problem, that other companies would have charged just to show up!!!
