Absolute towing stole money from my daughter. she is a college student and was visiting a friend. Parking was allowed for 12 hours and the car had not been there that long. She had to pay 160 dollars and they would not give her a receipt. So apparently they keep the money for themselves. The men working there are rude and very mean. My daughter feared they might hurt her. This has to be stopped and reported to the police. I am also going to report them to the better business bureau. They are an illegal business and should be shut down. read more

Horrible experience. They towed my car from my apartment, and it was completely my fault as I had to use my dads car that week and forgot to get an temporary parking pass. But I called them when I saw the car was gone and they were very rude an unhelpful. They explicitly told me on the phone that they take credit cards. However, when I arrived they nonchalantly said that they only accept cash, causing me to have to get another cab to take me to an atm. When I got back, I went to the car to get my license in case I needed it to pay. Several employees ran out of the building yelling for me not to get in the car (fyi I went to the passenger side to make it clear I wasn't up to anything.)After finally going in to pay, they said the charge was $135, despite the car only being in their possession for an hour and a half, in other words they charged me a full days rate. I almost contested it but just payed so I could get out of there and hopefully never be back. If you ever get towed, pray that it is not by the scam artists at Absolute Towing. . read more

I am sorry I can not rate this company due to their extreme disrespect and lying, but apparently I have to give them at least one star. I called Absolute the day before Thanksgiving for a tow. The dealership recommended them. I am not sure that dealerships know how rude and awful this company is or I doubt they would use them. I called and asked about a tow and was given about an hour time frame. I asked what it would cost. Apparently, they are not asked that question often. I suppose they are used to customers allowing the charges to be included in their car repair fee wherever they are towed. I preferred to pay cash as it would be cheaper. I had to wait several minutes while the dispatcher was either looking it up, figuring it out, or asking someone. Finally, he came back and gave the figures: $82 if it was billed through the dealership, $77 if it was put on our credit card, and $67 if we paid cash. I had to sort of prompt him along, he didn't seem to want to give me cash as an option. But he got it all laid out and as he spoke, I wrote. He also instructed me to make sure I informed the driver of the option we were picking. The truck showed up in a bit over an hour. Which was not a big deal. What was a big deal was when I told the driver we were paying cash, he looked and said, "Oh, they have you down as commercial." Which meant they put me in for billing the dealership, which I made it plain I did NOT want. So, I said, no we are paying cash, I was told it will be $67. He said, "No M'am, that will be $77." I said NO! I was told $67 and I ran in to get the sheet I wrote on. I showed him. So he called the office and put me on speaker. The dispatcher said, "No she was told it would be $77 for cash." I said where did I get these figures, if I am making this up...this is what you told me. He said no it was not. And they hung up. I looked at the driver and said, "I'm sorry, but you can leave, I am not using a company that lies." So he left. My husband suggested that we should call the office directly rather than having the driver as the middleman. The same man answered and was extremely rude from the get go. I tried to explain that I was given different numbers and where would I come up with those unless it was something I was given by his company. He yelled at me, I mean a real yell/shout: "I sat right here and heard my dispatcher give you the correct prices of $87, $82 and $77. I told him I was not going to do business with someone who can't tell the truth and I hung up on him. My son then arrived, who was visiting for the holiday, offered to call AAA that he has. In less than 30 minutes, a different company showed up and towed us for $48 with complete respect and kindness. If you want trustworthy and respectful treatment DO NOT CALL Absolute because they are the ABSOLUTE WORST. read more

This company is an absolute joke. It is so unprofessional and takes advantage of broke college students. There is also something sketchy going on. The company said they are open from 8am-8pm, but my car was towed at 10pm. Also, when I called them after I realized my car was towed, they said they were suppose to be closed at 8pm but are still open right now and will only accept cash. And the guy on the phone was extremely rude and hung up on me when I was asking about how to get my car back. They also charge extra if your car stays overnight, which in my case they towed my car when they were suppose to be closed 2 hours ago. This company is a JOKE. read more

Very unprofessional. The guy that works named "J.C." Started screaming and cursing at me. He is also a liar.

This company has no respect for anyone! They towed my daughter's friends car for not having a visitors tag. Which in fact had fallen on to the floor. Then accused them of throwing it in the car when they went to retrieve the car. After overhearing the employees talking to the owner and accusing them of doing this and saying "the whole thing is bullsh#t" my daughter lost her temper. When I called the owner to ask about the rudeness and disrespect. He once again called my daughter a liar and stated she lost her temper (of course she had already told me she had). This was after I had already stated that I wasn't going to bother with arguing about whether the tag was there or not, the phone call was only to discuss the rudeness ( b/c arguing w/ a tow company about the actual tow is like asking a brick wall to move 2 steps to the left). At no point did he acknowledge the complaint or consider the fact that they were disrespectful. This fact only confirms that this is standard procedure and tolerated. Be advised this company will never admit they were wrong and I wouldn't use them if I was stranded anywhere, even if they were the only tow truck around and it was free!! read more

Absolute Towing is the most disgusting, GREEDY, and disrespectful company I have ever dealt with. The workers are unprofessional and do not apologize for their mistakes. They towed my brothers car from his apartment garage, that he paid A LOT of money for the pass, and had the sticker in the proper place on the back windshield. They hung up on the phone when I called them and said they have made a big mistake. The workers were rude to my parents, and I on the phone. I STILL have not personally received an apology or any compensation for being stranded because they WRONGFULLY towed my brothers car. They also expected HIM to go get it. My brother parked in the proper place, had the proper sticker visible, and his car should have never been touched by them! Towing is not good for a car, it was a HUGE inconvenience walking 3 miles, which resulted in me getting blisters, and walking alone at night when I should have been in the safety of my brothers car. I feel personally wronged by Absolute Towing and they obviously cannot even do their ONE JOB. Is it really that hard to look for a parking sticker BEFORE towing someone's vehicle? My family and I are waiting for a proper apology and compensation for the WRONG that they have caused my family and I. They gave my brother a coupon for a discounted tow, They are the last company my family would call if they needed a tow. They refused to bring his car back, when it never should have left his garage. They used to work with my apartment complex and now have been fired because of their awful business. I once saw them towing a car from my apartment complex which resulted to the car making a screeching sound and being pulled up onto the side walk curb. I would NEVER recommend this towing company to ANYONE. I am writing this review so that hopefully the businesses they work with will see all of the negative reviews and find another towing company. read more
