He wasn't mean, he just wanted to play. he would jump up on us, and our small kids, and knock them down. After 3 week of training, in house at Muttworks, Keith brought him home. Rip is now the perfect dog! Our kids can now play with him, with no worries of being tackled! When we take Rip in for group classes, the other trainers come up to him, call him by name, and tell him how proud they are of him. Keith, along with his staff, are loving, and treat Rip like he is their dog. If you have a dog, that needs some training, I highly recommend Muttworks. When we took…read moreour 6-month-old (now almost a year old) German Shepard to them, he was very reactive, scared of going out to stores, the vet, or meeting new people... All of these were a nightmare for me (and him). Now we can go out to stores, do outdoor activities, and even with groups of people. I was so impressed with how they turned his training around that I have also taken his "sister" a 4-month-old German Shepard to have her trained as well (dropped her off for training at 12 weeks old to start her off right). I took 2 handfuls (fur babies) in and got 2 very well-behaved best friends back. After 6 months we are now in protection training, and it is going great. The classes are very informative and, most importantly, fun because let's be honest, if you're not having fun then your pet is not having fun and now, you're not going to classes. Everybody I have interacted with at MuttWorks has been very professional, friendly and more importantly, THEY LOVE AND TREAT EVERY SINGLE DOG THEY TRAIN LIKE THEIR OWN.

I had a prior reservation for my 2 dogs to be kenneled inside her home, last minute (day of) we…read moremessaged to check in with her to make sure drop off time was still good for 6:30, she moved it from 6:30 to 5:30 which is not problem. Stephanie then informed me that the dogs could not be kenneled inside do to someone/ or dog needing more space because of its medical needs. I would understand this if it was brought to my attention way in advance. we have a senior dog that has to remain inside due to random seizures and has to be watched. once we found out that she would not be keeping them inside I was able to find someone else to watch them that would keep them inside. I had cancelled my reservation for them to be dropped off today for a month and she sent a message saying she can no longer accept my animals due to it being within two hours of drop off. I am not pleased how she handled the whole situation. We had to physically contact her to make sure of our drop-off dates and times were good to go (she never once got in contact with us to check in). If you agree to something that agreement should stand, on all of her platforms she does not state a cancellation policy, so I think that that needs to be updated. Plus, she is very rude and vague when she contact us. We've had the dogs picked up before and had to wait 30 minutes to an hour waiting for someone to showed up to let us get our dogs. Dog sitting is not cheap so me paying over $1000 I would expect a little bit more.

The mother and her two (grown) sons are so pleasant you can tell they just have a love for animals. They were able to fit her in for daycare without an appointment they even were able to give her a bath. They have an indoor playroom and a decent size yard. They have a pet shop with some adorable accessories, toys, etc for pets. Izzie got her 1st bling today, a gorgeous crystal encrusted B.B. Simon collar. Apparently, she's happy and had a great day at daycare because after only 4 hours at Prancing Paws, she passed out cold on my lap. This will definitely be our go to spot every time we come back here for business!

Not when we arrive at Paw Paw Patch - Buddy cannot wait to get in and see Tavo. He is always greeted with friendly faces and they take great care of him. They may be hard to get on the phone, but well worth the time and effort of booking your first appointment. It's easy after that because once you pick up your dog you can just schedule your next appointment in person. This is by far the best groomer in Texarkana! They are honest, competitively priced, and they do a great job. All dogs leave happy and with cute bows.
