After comparison shopping at 4 different firearm retailers I eneded up purchasing a Smith and Wesson at Town gun shop, it was a good deal and the accesories it came with were valued over $100 so I would say it was a great deal! The folks at the counter were very professional, polite and helpful, their insight really helped me make my decision and unlike other places I shopped, they didn't pressure me with their sales pitches and made me feel very comfortable with my shopping experience.

He asked what I was trying to get I said 125. which I know it's kinda high, but everybody knows you start high. He offered me $40 I said 75 he says the most I'll give you is 60. So he offered a 6th of the retail value. He couldn't even give me 75 when resale value is at least half of retail value so he would double his money. At 75$ brand new items. Which would be easy to get half of retail. So doubling his money wasn't good enough he had to have 15 more dollars.

The reservation system has reduced wait times. The sale area is small but merchandise has been selected more to satisfy range needs rather than duplicating the main store which is within a few miles. The staff (range, sales, administration-membership) all seem to be open to suggestions for improvement. And another strong point - I have never encountered an effort at a hard sell for merchandise, membership, or any other offering.

I visited this establishment over 3 weeks ago and was denied the sale of my firearm. Perfectly fine. I had a shipping label emailed to them the SAME DAY to have said firearm returned. I've called numerous times to check on its status because the seller still hasn't received the returned firearm, just to receive the response "a firearm shipped out, i don't know if it was yours" without being asked my name or anything. I emailed 6 days ago to check the status again, I was told it was just packaged and awaiting pickup... 3 weeks later. I immediately asked to be updated when it's picked up by UPS, tracking info, etc. Still to this second haven't received a response. I spent $800 on a firearm that I was not only denied access to but then held for 3 weeks with no explanation, communication, apology?? The overall handling of this situation was unprofessional and frustrating. It STILL hasn't been resolved and has been ongoing since June 18th. I cannot be refunded until the seller receives the firearm back. I wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone.

Ben the owner is most accommodating and knowledgeable, especially when it comes to old Warsaw Pact/Commies guns.
