I don't know much about flowers (especially what was appropriate for a funeral... so I gave them my price range and he had a few suggestions). Although I never saw the flower arrangement (it was unfortunately too far to travel), EVERYONE said it was absolutely beautiful! If I ever need to send flowers again in Ogdensburg, I will certainly use Basta's!

Total miscommunication. When ordering, I gave the website name for a specific arrangement and I…read moreclearly requested to add some carnations, not to make the arrangement a totally different looking carnation arrangement. I stated that recipient likes carnations, but wanted my arrangement for recipient's special b-day to be really nice. Carnations are a cheaper flower, and in our opinion, not elegant, which is the reason I did not order a carnation arrangement in the first place, but instead I ordered a specifically named arrangement with beautiful flowers and colors (pls see photo) and I simply requested to add a few carnations, not to re-do what I had chosen. I understand and appreciate that things will vary, esp with seasons, but the arrangement my recipient received looks nothing like the florist website stock photo that I chose. I overpaid for what I got (over $70 with delivery). I called the florist, but I was erroneously told I got what I ordered. No resolution offered (I did not request a full refund; I would never do that). Any response to this review would be inaccurate because I was clear with the name of the arrangement shown online and in my request to just add a few carnations to what I was ordering. Thank you.
