I LOVE Meraki and Moon! Seriously, if you're in the Georgetown area, and you haven't been to this…read moreshop, go check it out soon! I have family in Georgetown, so I visit from time to time. My sister-in-law and I often shop in the downtown area, because there are several great boutiques. (There are also great restaurants in the area, so you should definitely check it out!) Recently she told me a new shop had happened, and she took me to Meraki and Moon. I was instantly in love! This shop offers art, home decor, clothing, jewelry, bath salts, crystals, accessories, wine, and so so so much more! We ended up purchasing several items, and we were both so happy with our purchases that we can't wait to go back! Plus, they offer classes and hands on art experiences, and you can purchase wine by the bottle or glass and enjoy it while in a class or while shopping! And, on top of all of that, the shop owners and employees are awesome! You can read about their story on their website, and in person they are so friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed meeting them and talking with them during our visit. This is the perfect shop to check out for yourself, or for gifts. They have so many items, and the prices are so reasonable, it's become my new favorite spot in Georgetown! Be sure to check it out!

the staff is very friendly and always eager to help! they have a very wide selection of anything…read morespiritual/witch related. with a wide variety of crystals, stickers, jewelry, pins, candles, clothes, blankets, art, etc. you'll probably find yourself admiring the store for way longer than you should have but seriously, if you're into this kind of stuff or not i would 100% recommend taking a visit!

My friend invited me to a Saturday workshop and I had no idea what to expect…read more I thought it would be a sip and paint where you work on the same design and follow step-by-step instructions. This is something different. You pick your design before you arrive. When you get there, it feels like a real woodworking studio. Then, you end up sanding wood, distressing wood, staining wood, and then painting designs on the wood. In all those ways, it feels so much more physical, creative and engaging than a simple crafting workshop. And the results! My board is so impressive to look at! The whole experience gives you so much confidence and I couldn't wait to go back and make another piece. You do pick out your project beforehand - with two main options (a larger more expensive board and a smaller more manageable piece).

I am in love with this place, it makes me feel like I am so crafty. I met with some new friends…read morehere for a Mom's night out and I honestly wish I could do 5 of them at once. I went very simple with my Board but next time I plan to go crazy and try everything. It only costs $40 for the Mini session we attended and they do have a little fridge of alcoholic beverages to get your creative gears grinding. The staff is so patient, they teach you the technique but also make time to come around to offer tips. Don't think about it too much and just book your session, you won't regret it!
