My sister-in-law and I often shop in the downtown area, because there are several great boutiques. (There are also great restaurants in the area, so you should definitely check it out!) Recently she told me a new shop had happened, and she took me to Meraki and Moon. I was instantly in love! This shop offers art, home decor, clothing, jewelry, bath salts, crystals, accessories, wine, and so so so much more! We ended up purchasing several items, and we were both so happy with our purchases that we can't wait to go back! Plus, they offer classes and hands on art experiences, and you can purchase wine by the bottle or glass and enjoy it while in a class or while shopping! And, on top of all of that, the shop owners and employees are awesome! You can read about their story on their website, and in person they are so friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed meeting them and talking with them during our visit. This is the perfect shop to check out for yourself, or for gifts. I have 5 pieces to glaze next week and to gift for the holidays. Our class had around 8 people and the cool part is we were all ages, from high school to 20s, 40s, and older. The owners teach the course and are pretty kind and helpful. They also offer additional days for practice, monthly memberships, and lots of extra help if needed. I plan to continue visiting via a membership or repeating the 4 week course.
