They said since it was attached to a hospital, they do their billing different than other Urgent Care Clinics. I spoke with many people within Unity Point and they agree it is ridiculous that I was charged this much and it should not be advertised as an Urgent Care. After speaking with many different people about multiple bills they discounted it 100$. I was told the director said there is nothing else he can do. This is a complete ripoff and now I see why insurance premiums are out of control. I will never go here again and I hope we can convince our insurance committee to switch providers. I know many others are frustrated too.

This facility covers many different types of nursing home care, from a rehab and return home to a memory care unit. Our relationship with them centered on the memory care unit. One of the first things you will note on your way in is that this facility is almost absolutely odor free. Odor is a constant battle for nursing home facilities. These people do a great job. The most powerful thing that I can tell you is the level of love and concern that our family member and our family received. The people in the courtyard wing of this facility were absolutely wonderful. I believe they'll treat your family the same way.

They will blatantly ignore your levels being high & act petty when you advocate for yourself. I do not recommend Dr Palcheff or anyone in this office. I was told he was new & he mentioned his studies being not too long ago but the way i was treated & lack of professionalism/communication on an ongoing health concern is shocking & he should not be taking patients in if he cannot help diagnose an illness or ignores test results. When you ask for test results to be explained, they give you the medical terminology, uncomprehend able to the public that didn't go to medical school instead of explaining things to you.
