You grab a ticket at the counter and then pay at the register. It goes by pretty quickly. There's only 3 high tops inside, but there's some seating outside. Most of the tables were taken, but I didn't feel like people had to wait around for a table. I felt pretty rushed when ordering, so I didn't get a chance to ask about some of the fruit mousse things. I did order the mushroom, peach, and mango. The mushroom was creamy and definitely had hazelnut spread or mousse in there. The peach one was delightful and tasted like summer. The mango was subtle, but tasted better if you held it in your hand and bit into vs using a fork - don't ask me why. I also ordered two Ajarskis (boat-shaped pizza with cheese-filled crusts, topped with runny eggs). I was a little surprised by the price, but they are pretty large and hearty so I only ate 1/4-1/2 and was able to spread each one out over 3 meals. The veggie one was LOADED with veggies and so delicious. The bread on it was homemade and perfectly crusty. The Armenian was delightful and light. I'd HIGHLY recommend this place!

I've been to Handel's a handful of times, and there is usually a fairly busy line, but it moves pretty fast. They don't skimp on portions, nor is the presentation ever sloppy, no matter how busy they are. Considering the generous portions, I was pleasantly surprised by the price. Definitely less expensive than Cold Stone or Ben & Jerry's, and the quality is - dare I say - on par or even better?! Also, if you ever have to go to the urgent care off Pass Avenue, one silver lining is that Handel's is *literally* right next-door to the urgent care! If there's a long wait, take advantage of it, and pop next door for a scoop of ice cream or a banana split! Or if you have a child who needs some bribing or a post-appointment reward, Handel's can handle that for you! Parking is plentiful, but keep in mind that there is a Starbucks and a 24-hour Vons in the same parking lot, so certain times of day will be busier than others, and some people are bad at heeding the one-way arrows down most of the rows. I ordered a Wild Rose Matcha Latte and a Nutella croissant. When I was ordering, the helpful cashier explained that they serve two types of matcha, one of which is smoother than the regular one. I decided to order the smoother option. Even though they were busy, my order was ready very quickly. They are super fast. With one sip of my latte, I instantly loved it. The hint of wild rose and the very smooth matcha were so refreshing. I didn't think the combination of wild rose and matcha would be such a good choice, but they absolutely nailed it. It was super delicious. The Nutella croissant was crunchy and tasty. The store was clean, very organized, and the staff stayed on top of everything while being kind and helpful.
