Dare I say Ubatuba has the best Acai bowls in town, maybe even all of LA? The ingredients are fresh, delicious, quality and the service is always very good, quick and efficent. You have plenty of options for bases and even more for toppings. They also have empanadas which I have yet to try but look forward to. There's plenty of seating outside and some seating inside. Nice decor and most importantly they have a water dispenser which is so appreciated. It's pricey but totally worth it and I'm sure its on par with other Acai bowls around, maybe even more affordable then other places as they don't charge you extra for chosing multiple bases. I just say it's pricey because a small is $12 and costs as much as lunch in some places. The only caveat is that parking is hard to find and the spaces are very small if you are lucky yo even find a spot.

The draw is that you get to pick your own toppings but the açaí and pitaya itself is just fine when compared to other açaí spots. There's a nice seating area outside.

First time to try this dessert place and I highly recommend it for the freshest açaí and empanadas. Their staff very friendly and attentive to your needs also gives recommendation. Get the mushroom empanada you'll feel in love with it especially if you pair it with the loaded Açaí bowl. This perfect combination is a heavenly snack worth every penny. There's seating area when you enter and a refill water station in the wall with cups what a wonderful idea. The opposite wall is where you'll find a colorful mural painting a nice touch. Definitely recommend this place don't miss it!

If you feel down and craving for an energy boost, head to the Burbank Branch of Ubatuba Açaí and munch on their freshest fruits snacks and energy boosters. Organic is overrated but their Açaí mixtures is sumptuous and creamy, crunchy and smooth but overall, it's as tasty as can ever be. If you're not feeling the Acai concoctions, they also have other varieties that'll make you feel great and ready to take on anything that'll come your way. If you're just looking for something different, just drop by and they'll offer you an elixir that'll make you keep coming back. Forgot her name but their staff member was not only nice but polite, respectful and knowledgeable about their products. Try and your view of snacks will change you forever!

I am unfamiliar with how to build an acai bowl, but the staff here patiently worked me through, and let me know all the options for base and toppings. building. My acai bowl was super fresh. I really love adding peanut butter and honey granola to it. Mushroom empanadas were so warm and delicious. I can't wait to go back already.

I just had to come back to Ubatuba Acai today since my wife was craving it and we were in the area. I was here last week and got some ubatuba for my parents to try as well which they loved. My dad said whenever I go back to get him some more so I did just that this morning. I came an hour before lunch time and they were not busy at all. There was many parking spots in the small lot it's in. So I got 3 medium bowl, for my parents I just got them the bowl with mango base and added strawberry, banana, pineapple and blueberry for the toppings. My wife got the acai base with fruits as well as her topping. When we got home, my wife was happy with her selection and my parents loved their bowl as well.

Nice quiet little spot to come have a day date. The parking is a shared lot but easy to find parking. Lots of space to sit indoors or outdoors for both small & larger groups. Super clean inside & all the fruit looked (& tasted) fresh. Really friendly service as well. I love uba tuba because their açaí always has the same great quality and is the most authentic tasting açaí I've tried so far. Their empanadas are also really delicious; I highly recommend the spinach & cheese one & I don't even like spinach lol the beyond meat one wasn't as good but still edible. First time trying this location & would def come again, they don't skimp out on any of your topping or drizzles like in other places so it's definitely worth the price; even a small bowl will fill you up! 10/10 recommend this location & Uba Tuba in general

First time visiting this small business. The staff Silva and Mariana were very friendly and willing to share recommendations. I would say service with a smile. I asked about the base toppings and selected a medium bowl with the base mango added a whole bunch of toppings and topped it off with delicious honey. The establishment was peaceful with soft music. You can sit inside or outside. You need to give this place a try you won't be disappointed. There is enough parking. ENJOY! In a rush, order Uber Eats!

Staff was super attentive, and as a Brazilian, I was impressed by the quality of the açaí. It was not too sweet and the great variety of toppings, / fruits / drizzles (and generosity!) was surprising. The owner saw that I didn't want granola and added more açaí, which I thought it was very thoughtful of him. Empanada was warm, juicy and came with a fresh chimichurri sauce that was really good. I accidentally ordered beyond meat thinking that it was a regular meat but it was as good as lol so not a problem at all. It was a replacement for lunch and it did the job. The medium size bowl was enough to keep me full.

Free parking out front This açaí is the perfect amount of sweet with so many different toppings to choose from The perfect snack or meal replacement that won't leave you feeling icky Service is awesome and there's plenty of spots to sit around and enjoy your açaí

Delicious medium sized acai & mango bowl.

This is the best acai bowl place in town. Why? Because they have different base options other than acai; I'm a huge fan of the acai base, mango base, and coconut base. They are creamy and delicious. Also unlike other acai spots in our town; Ubatuba lets you pick UNLIMITED TOPPINGS. If you've ever shopped at the supplement section at the health food store; you know some of the toppings are quite expensive. Personally I love their bee pollen, hemp seeds, and chia seeds. The fruit is always ripe and delicious, and the service here is always really good. Today my medium sized bowl loaded with yummy fresh fruit like passion fruit, almond butter, and chia seed pudding cost $13. That's pretty reasonable for a healthy breakfast bowl. Also, they are so close to my gym! So I love stopping by after a good workout!

Never had an issue the staff have generally been great, sometimes even funny and talkative. This time was different, maybe the guy is the owner or manager i dont know, slim tall guy, wore a urban camo hat. When I sat down to eat with my mom after we ordered I noticed the bill was more than we usually pay for pretty much the same order we always get. I looked at the receipt and saw we were over charged as BBQ only, not BBQ and Salad bbar, meaning the weight of the veggies are charged as meat, not just the meat. I walked over to the guy behind the counter to ask about it thinking there's a mistake besides this is my usual order, and it's always been bbq plus salad bar, and clearly it is not just "bbq only". I was immediately met with ridicule, insults, and aggression. He claimed there was too much meat and made accusations at me, I was not pleased with that behavior so I said, you know what thats fine, I dont need this, just take the food and refund me. He immediately escalates and gets loud and angery shouts ALL SALES FINAL told me to get the "F" out before he calls security. I said, look, I was over charged, if you dont agree thats on you but I dont want to spend my money here. Call security, let them come. At this point he insults me, my mom, and swears at us some more then retreats to the back for a few minutes while we say get security so they can look this over. He comes out after a few minutes of hiding to tell us to get the "F" out of here (mind you its a public mall, we are customers at the mall and are free to be here, not to mention paying customers of this establishment, though we tried to return the food and get our money back.) Overcharged us, was very rude and combative, deflected to accusations at me trying to say i am playing tricks here. (Btw we didnt insult or curse back, just stood our ground) There were a couple of other customers in line who saw it and asked us about what is going on, they agreed with us and said they would not give them business. You can judge for yourself if you think my food was "BBQ only" (clealry its not). Mind you, again, this is the usual order, this has always beed charged as bbq with salad bar for ever prior visit. So we took him up on his offer to get security when he tried to intimidate us with it, spoke to security, showed them everything the security team apologized for ehat happened , though it was not their fault and the security team is top notch in customer service, and they helped us file a formal complaint with the mall management. Edit to add: And honestly looking now at other reviews even going back a year or more I see a pattern, one lady had her mother leaving in tears (mine held hers back while there but similar issue) from the outright rudness and it seems in that case that lady's parents got their money taken with nothing in exchange but a sour experience, and the response from their yelp manager? A hollow "Sorry"? How about a refund? Try reaching out to the customer and mending the situation? I am sure I'll either get an empty "sorry" too, or probably some sort of passive aggressive attack if not an outright attack for my review, much the same as I saw in person. It could have gone very easy just saying "i can correct that overcharge this time" but the swearing and insults and raising his voice at us in the middle of the food court with people watching, other potential customers and even what looked like a new job applicant who was just starting there seeing what this guy is like, sheesh.

It was also annoying for the waitress (not the gal that served us btw - a host perhaps) to give the vibe like they were doing us a favor by applying the $50 Birthday promo that THEY send via email (note, I verbally this flagged when we arrived just in case - but they didn't initially have it on our bill). My head is thinking "calm down--we ate minimally and got drinks. Don't offer it if you're going to have an attitude about adjusting the bill". It was just weird. They also didn't offer any bday dessert treat but we weren't super pressed bc we were so full. The meat was a bit overdone and all kind of tasted the same this visit. Didn't get to try the lamb chops and a few other meats, but still has a nice variety. Salad bar is top notch and consistent, although wish their black beans were plain due to all the meat. Drinks were ok--heavy pours but lower quality wine. The $29 "Wine Experience" package was worth it for my husband who likes variety of wines with his dinner depending on what he's eating. I'm sure I'll come again but it's been bumped a few notches on my Go To list.
