First time trying this lobster truck and it will also be my last. This was the worse lobster roll I have ever had. Lobster was chewy and too much garlic. The garlic smell and taste was overwhelming. They barely give you a little container of butter to pour onto the roll yourself. I would not recommend this place. Honestly, I want to cheer these guy on... I want to rave about how good it was but I just can't. Maybe it was all the hype... were my expectations just too high. I don't know. It's a beautiful truck located conveniently in Burbank, the staff seemed to be pleasant... not much interaction, so I wouldn't really know. The service is slow and It takes a while to get your food and that was fine with me because I thought that would translate into the flavor profile and ultimately, a delicious roll. I was left feeling quiet unimpressed, let down, actually, kind of crushed, truely. Let down at the least. I did finish my food, but that's not saying much, at all. Everyone in our group felt the same way. I want to give it another go but the price point is way to high to just roll the dice and hope it was just a bad day. This was our first time coming here, the food was okay ish, for the most part it felt like a lot of the dishes we ordered were really unseasoned. We ordered the Lobster Mac and you'd think they'd have some essence of the lobster in the sauce to compliment the macaroni, instead it's just plain white macaroni with lobster bits sprinkled on top, certainly not worth $24 in its size. The service was slow but it's just two people so I won't clock them for that, I understand it's a lot to make for a hungry crowd, but there were some guys who ran by to order 8+ items and interrupted someone else's order to do so. I read about this food truck and rode up to Burbank from Highland Park for it on a Friday night. No line when I got there around 9ish, a few people came after me though. There's a few table and chair setups to sit outside and eat. I got the warm and buttery lobster roll and fries. Delicious! Warm and buttery indeed. So yummy!
