And unfortunately, I was injured at the time he did the work so it was difficult for me to check what he was doing - which in hindsight I think he took advantage of. He told us the light bulbs he was putting on the ceiling fixture above the basement stairs (nearly impossible for us to replace ourselves) would last 10 years. They're already out!!! He was supposed to remove an ugly fixture in my office and replace it with a new one. He replaced the bulbs only!!! He was supposed to put up new fixtures in my garage and fix a couple of the other fixtures. He replaced bulbs in one fixture only and never put up new ones!!! To this day we have no idea what he did in the garage. He was supposed to put in a certain type of split heating cooling system designed for the square footage of my garage. When I checked the part of the one he put in, it wasn't even strong enough to cover the square footage of the garage and does nothing!!! To add insult to injury my wife caught him lingering about our yard AFTER HE WAS DONE AND LEFT! Very strange. So did he charge me less after all this. Nope. Same price.
