They were competitive tap dancers in school and have now opened a versatile studio filled with dance classes, yoga, fitness, and sauna/therapy. It is a great one stop shop for all things wellness. I decided to join their buti glow class. Buti yoga is new to the northwest and is a mix of tribal dance and yoga and all these scientific ways to use movement as medicine. Stephanie, our instructor was an absolute gem. Raw and real and hilarious and really good at what she is teaching. The best part about this class is that you are covered in glow paint and being your primal self under the glow of the black lights and it is pure empowerment. I am so glad I went. Take a dope playlist and a room full of women lifting each other up and I will absolutely sign up again. I hear that the buti glow class is once per month, so maybe I will see you there!

My daughter came home feeling bad about herself and asking to quit after just two months of dance. If a dance instructor has an issue with a child's abilities, the policy should be to take it up directly with a parent. They have no right telling a child they aren't good at dance! They shouldn't be allowed to interact with children until they get further training, as I consider this to be detrimental to a child's development. Update: I took my concerns directly to the teacher, and there was zero follow through or help with repairing this issue. I never heard from the owner, so I can only assume she doesn't care about the health and well being of children at her studio. It is in your child's best interest to find a safer place to dance.

My son went to their preschool program last year and I would recommend it without reservation…read more First, I wasn't expecting anything in the way of "academics" but they did a fantastic job working with them on writing and simple worksheets. My son had to write his name every morning when he came in, and he would often come home with several creative worksheets, coloring pages etc. They were extremely consistent with the writing and it set a great expectation that is now paying off for him in Kindergarten. Staff were enthusiastic and naturally gifted with children. They did a great job balancing the days between physical activity and "seat work," and there was also plenty of less-structured time to dance and play. Payments were a little more haphazard than I'd like. They aren't set up with online payment options / reminders, so it was usually me just trying to remember when and if I paid each month.
