When I get back home from work late There is no parking anywhere, to the point where you have to park in the fire lane. The office expect you to walk from the 24hr fitness and through a poorly lit neighborhood. They will then call the police to give you a ticket for parking in the fire lane. It's crazy how they can do all that and not be concerned that theirs rats everywhere, living in peoples cars and rat droppings everywhere. read more

I've been living at this apartment complex since Jan of 2024. Gus, Anna, Morgan & Debbie are down right crooked and unprofessional. A demand was served for late rent. I went and paid the balance to them and they denied my payment. They instead went to court to ask for the exact same amount they asked for in the demand! Where do I begin? I wish that i had never lived at this complex. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. When i first moved in it was convenient for me because there weren't many fees and a very small deposit. Well, i know better now. First off the place is DIRTY. Every day there is trash found everywhere. Mattresses laying in the breezeways. Toilets just laying out in the parking lots. Grocery carts spread out along the complex from target. Most of the tenants are lazy. One of my neighbors had a rotten pumpkin laying outside his door for 3 months. Anytime you step out of your apartment your engulfed by the smell of weed. Another huge issue. My car was not only towed for the parking lot 6 times but i even had CAR PARTS STOLEN FROM OUT FROM UNDERNEATH MY CAR. My catalytic converters were cut out from underneath my car. When i contacted the office they told me "sorry we don't have cameras in the parking lot" they wouldn't even talk to the police when they showed up. "There is nothing we can do" they were sympathetic or anything. Moving out was one of the worst processes ever. They tried to keep me there for months and months. I was never late on a single payment. And they would not let me even leave! Kept telling me i had to keep paying until i finally called everyday for a week just to move out! Apparently if your on a month to month lease you still have to give a 90 days notice which makes absolutely ZERO sense. The hidden fees are everywhere! They only good thing about this place we're the maintenance men. They were always willing to help and always stopped to say hello. They ladies in the office were rude and very unprofessional. All news or import any information is always given out through email. Never notes to the door or phone calls. So it's your fault and you'll pay a penalty unless you check your email everyday. Limited/crap parking due to people storing their unused/extra vehicles that violate the tenant agreement. Broken package concierge room door. Doesn't matter because packages are just left on the ground for anyone to take. No working security cameras in the package concierge room. Wouldn't recommend signing a lease here. read more

I lodge Mrs Karen the manager here and all of the staff! They are very quick and responsive and they care very much about the community and keeping it clean and wonderful for the residence! I just moved out after my lease was up. There was always new people at the leasing office which is concerning that they have such a high turnover rate. Things constantly fall through the cracks. I lived here a year and there was new staff and management each time I went in there and they weren't very nice each time I went in. This is a "non smoking" community, there's always people smoking cigarettes and weed. Cigarette butts throughout the property. We also consistently saw maintenance smoking right in front of buildings. How are they expecting to enforce such rules if employees are doing what they're asking tenants to not do. When we moved in our apartment was not move in ready whatsoever, there was numerous issues that had to be fixed as we were moving in. First red flag should've been the leasing office telling us we couldn't see the apartment until it was ready to be turned over to us. They advertise updated units but they are not updated at all. Splash pad was never turned on, and the pool was consistently closed on and off. Apartments are in a nice area but the staff isn't the nicest. read more

Lived here for a year and a half, besides all the comments of no parking and towing situations, here's another downfall to consider, pictured is a package concierge room (yes you pay extra for this) and here are package just paying all across the ground for anyone to pick up, also pictured is a door that usually required a key but as of recently anyone can walk in. It does have a camera which I was told wasn't working because I myself had a couple packages go missing. And a complaint I have yet to read. I personally could hear my upstairs neighbor flush/shower and hear the dirt water drip from leaking pipes within the walls and ceiling's, and as I started moving out I did notice a smell starting to accumulate. In short they will try and charge you for anything and everything, without having quality. I also had a neighbor forced eviction, and they never came to grab their belongings, so management thought it was a good idea to leave it all next to multiple peoples front doors in the breezeway of the building, getting a good look at all the drug paraphernalia, sex toys and lingerie those tenets had. Shout out to Jaime from daisy's landscaping who works on property plowing mounts of snow on snow days so that residents are able to come and go. He let us borrow his shovel and plowed our garage/parking spot so that we could move our car to avoid giant clumps of snow from falling onto our vehicle from the roof. I wish there was an option to rate maintenance separately, as they were phenomenal & so was the ONE leasing agent, Kee. Otherwise, I am completely displeased with my tenancy at this property. Katie, is by far the worst property manager I have ever encountered. She NEVER returns calls or emails, NEVER addresses issues that are brought up, and has ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY for the job, she has been placed in. Facility repairs are emailed out promising to be completed in one week, one week rolls into two, then 4, & then 6 weeks go by without evening access to the gym, or ANY access to the pool. (The two reasons I signed a lease at this complex) The company contracted to repair the pool, spent more time on their cellphones under tree shade, than actually working. We were never updated about delays as the arose, three separate occasions that I had planned to utilize the pool, had to be cancelled. & the hot tub was still trashed when they reopened the pool. All these repairs began on Memorial Day, I left the property on 8/18 & the mechanics on the hot tub STILL DIDN'T WORK. The end of my occupancy, things got really tight & I communicated my distress to another leasing agent (Lisa), practically begging to make a payment arrangement for the final month, and to turn the property over a week early, move in ready, to lessen the problem. LISA, told me I could make a payment arrangement, that I just needed to come speak to Katie to set it up, but when I went to speak to Katie, she not only shamed my situation, making me feel even more desperate, but informed me that as soon as I turned in my keys, she would be handing my file to an attorney & filing for collection. Despite that news, I still went above & beyond to make sure the unit was pristine for the next tenant and even made a list of things that needed to be done, that weren't completed BEFORE I moved into the unit. (Crooked unusable outlet, rubber leeching from the plunger in the back of the toilet, one of the cabinet hinges was snapped off a kitchen cabinet) Even left a $30 light bulb in the garage, as one was NOT in there when I started renting it, & a new air filter for the new tenant. While turning in my keys, I noticed a file with my unit number on Kee's desk. & then noticed the move in date was scheduled for the final date of my lease. So they even rented my unit, without inspecting it. Today, I received a letter from the property stating I had an outstanding balance & I must contact the office by close of business on 8/23 to set up a payment arrangement. But the envelope was post marked on 8/24. So they didn't even mail out the letter stating that I could arrange payment, until after the deadline. When I called the office to discuss this with Katie, she told me she "doesn't know why they send those letters out, they 'don't offer payment arrangement". & in the SAME breath, she told me they DELIBERATELY send that letter out, after the date, just to "show my outstanding balance"... The lack of consistency within this building has not only caused me severe anxiety, but I have been treated with such disregard & apathy that I cannot believe they put such an unprofessional & crude person, in charge of an entire community. Don't even get me started on parking. They have "will tow at owner's expense" signs ALL OVER the community, not a single vehicle has been towed. I had a friend of mine park in a space for over a week to test the theory, never even got hit with a notice. Three, immobile, crashed vehicles sat in complex parking spaces for 2.5 weeks. The grass was dying, they pulled it out & put down more rock beds, the smell of dog urine through the breezeways was noxious. &, the area, for whatever reason has become a breeding ground for arguments. Neighbors above me slamming each other to the ground & slamming doors, EVERY NIGHT, people running up & down the stairs screaming, police are at the complex at least once a week. I've had personal property stolen out of my LOCKED vehicle on more than one occasion, and the final month of my lease, someone else's opener, was opening my garage, (which Ian with maintenance took care of immediately after I asked HIM to), but the two days it was happening overnight before I was able to have it fixed, could have resulted in a lot of my equipment going missing. There are far nicer, more affordable, accommodating, amenity filled apartments, that are worth signing a lease at. Do not be fooled by low deposits, it's a comfort blanket to draw people in to a severely poor managed complex. I have already spoken to my attorney & will be filing a complaint with Sentinel property group tomorrow morning, regarding Katie's lack of professionalism. read more

I lived here from October 2020 to February 2022. I will list the pros and cons and let you decide if its worth your money. Pros: office management is responsive. You can usually get someone on the phone and they are friendly enough. Maintenance requests are completed timely. There are issues with the complex. Management is aware of it, and is trying to find ways to fix those issues, which I will describe below. Cons: Parking is bad. There were several times when I had to park at the 24 hour fitness because I couldn't find a spot. Usually I had to park somewhat far from my apartment, which is difficult when you are trying to haul groceries or a Costco run. Management will try to sell you a garage so its not such an inconvenience, but I'm already paying good money for rent, I shouldn't have to pay more to park near my home. The pool is an issue as well. It didn't open until late in the season (after July 4). They claimed it was due to a pool pump issue, but I don't think it was ever fixed, and they eventually just hired a guy to clean it. I don't think the pump ever worked because when the pool needed to be cleaned, it would grow algae. The hot tub was never open. The splash pad never worked. Apartments are in need of updates (styling is about 10 years old). Another con was appliances Our AC washer/dryer were inefficient. We were on the 3rd floor. In the summer it was extremely hot. Our AC was old, and inefficient and could not cool the apartment. I talked to the maintenance supervisor about it. He said they are old an inefficient condensers and need replacing. So if you are considering living here, don't be on the 3rd floor. This community also finds a way to make money on everything. They have a package room to prevent theft of packages, but you have to pay a monthly fee to use it. They charge for utilities. But they are making money off of it. I used to own a home before living here. On average I paid $150 for electric, $40 for water/sewer, and $100 every three months for trash/recycling. The charges for water and sewer (which are separate, not together), trash (which is part of this valet trash program - you can put your trash by your door and someone takes it. However, these guys don't show up Friday night until Sunday night and due to labor shortages miss other days, so you end up taking your trash out yourself, but you can't opt out of the program, so you have to pay for that), they charge pest fees, but I never see any exterminator services ever spraying the ground). On average, we paid the complex about $60-70 a month for these services. Its' a lot that gets added to your bill, and given how many units there are, the charges should not be this high - I believe the community is making a profit on these charges. I would not recommend living here if you are planning month to month. We had to for about six months while we were looking at buying a house and they charge $150.00 a month just to not be under a contract, plus they charge more for your monthly rent if you are not under a lease. I think we ended up paying an $700 a month because of the rent increase, the monthly fee, and utilities. Crazy. Pets/Pet waste is a problem. The community had guidelines in place to keep out restricted dogs, but people find ways to cheat the system. There are a lot of pitbull's. I was bit by one. And yes, I believe they are naturally aggressive dogs. I saw people in my building on the first floor, lift their dogs over their patio, put them down, they would go to the bathroom and then the owner would pick them back up and not even bother to pick up the waste. The community does place trash containers around to throw out the waste. They used to do a good job of filling them up with poop bags, but then stopped supplying the bags, so people stopped using them. The walls are also super thin. I had the worst neighbors. They were constantly fighting. I could hear it all. They hooked up their alarm to a speaker system, so at 4:30 every morning, it would cause the walls to shake. read more

So I left a review about this apartment and apparently they deleted my comment because they know that they would get a lot of shit for it but here we are ONCE AGAIN . So don't expect to find parking at all because IT won't happen !!!!!!! second expect to walk dog poop every single day and every night. My neighbor was pregnant and fell on her stomach because they decided to not salt the sidewalks and when I had shoulder surgery I also fell on the ice on my bad shoulder us course and all they had to say was are you OK ! They never did anything to make sure that I was OK living in this complex!!!!!!!! Oh ALSO maintenance man tried to steal my phone thank God that my sister had my location and was able to help me out and find my phone for me. Not a fan of this property at all, sorry. Two thumbs way down considering the price and lack of service/s. The corridors are full of dirt, cigarette butts, and tumble weeds. They barely ever spray wash the walkways, maybe once a year. The staff seems rather detached and clueless. The current tenants are out-of-staters, and are rather dirty. The dogs run a muck on the property, pooping everywhere. The other morning I saw a fresh puddle of pee and pile of poop in the rear entry way of the building. A few days later the special surprise was still there. This place needs a manager that walks the property, and staff that looks after its tenants. They only seem to care about getting apartments rented, not about retaining current tenants. The former staff did a much better jobs at all of the above. Too bad they left when the property changed ownership. Lastly, the walls are paper thin. Sometimes I feel like I have front row seats to my neighbors evening sexcapades. Not cool at all. I am sure they would feel the same if I cheered them on. Bottomline, there is better location, and property to be rented other then this place. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. However, DO NOT IGNORE THE BAD REVIEWS!!! at the risk of sounding redundant along with everyone else, the parking here is WORSE than it sounds. Doesn't sound like a huge issue in the big scheme of things, but it is atrocious. I paid $100 a month for a garage because there is NEVER and I mean NEVER ANY parking available. So anyways, here I am paying a hundred a month for a garage, while there are people every single night parking in fire lanes, in the middle of crosswalks (seriously), on the grass (literally!) Yet, management does absolutely NOTHING about it. If I had known we could park on the freaking lawn, I would have saved my hundred bucks a month. While we are on the topic of expenses...this place is wayyy overpriced. Whoever said this place is affordable has obviously been hit over the head too many times. If $1200 a month for a TINY one bedroom is affordable, then I guess I'm a cheapskate. The gym is nice enough, when half the equipment isn't broken or stolen (Which most of the time it is). In the winter, they also do absolutely nothing to de-ice the streets. I'm a native coloradian, so ice and snow is nothing new, but having to walk clear across the parking lot (again, because no parking, ever) on a sheet of ice, while trying to carry my 6 month old baby is just dangerous. I'm not talking a few patches of ice here, I'm talking a straight up ice rink. The one good thing I will say (thus the one star) is maintenannce is actually really great, and they generally are pretty quick at taking care of stuff. There is one maintenance guy I see around during the day who is really sweet :) Other than that, management and the employees here are super rude and this place just sucks in general. The absolute worst part of this place is the parking situation. There is not enough parking which was done on purpose so you will buy the added expense of a teeny garage and space most cars can't even fit in nor are you allowed to store stuff in. Most residents need to park a half a block to a street away at the 24 hour fitness.If you can find a spot after 530 pm, other residents will literally try to run you over to get it and the spaces between the parking and garages are so tight that our cars have been hit and run twice while living here. The amenities - the pool seems to be always closed and while it's supposed to be open year round it's not heated so it's too cold to use outside of summer. You can't use the clubhouse so it's worthless to tenants. There are broken playground things so not safe for kids. The lawns have deep holes and groves so it's ugly and dangerous if a child is running and breaks a foot or ankle. The trash is always overflowing and the hallways always look trashy. The street lights at back of complex don't work and the lights on the buildings are broken or just don't work or barely glow. It is pitch black when you are crossing the busy street from parking over at 24 hour so it's dangerous to cross AND it means we seem to get more car and garage break ins than most complexes. The neighborhood is growing so fast that it's bringing in a lot of traffic that reeks havoc when trying to get in and out of the complex and if you want to walk across Chambers forget it! Too much traffic!! As for management they are rude and condescending and have double standards when it comes to their employees that live there vs all other tenants. They are constantly running "maintenance upkeep" so they are constantly in your apartment checking things out so privacy is out the window yet when something critically goes wrong in your apartment they are slow to respond and downgrade it's importance or just fail to fix it altogether. They also will lie right to your face and make mistakes and blame it on you. DONT MOVE HERE. You will regret living here. read more

The best part about the complex are the individuals running it. They truly go out of their way to help you. I'd like to recognize the maintenance team who has always been there when i needed them. The after hours line (which is the main leasing line) contacted the on duty maintenance person when my fuse popped on thanksgiving, within in mere minutes i got a call back and i was up in running in no time. Of course other situations i find myself in. The maintenance guys (shout out to Clayton) are all always smiling and polite, and i can't leave out the leasing staff who are knowledgeable, friendly, and always helpful! I've enjoyed talking to every one of them :) I see there are some negative reviews (take notice the dates and i'm sure there's been employee turn over), but let's be real, a little kindness will get you far. These guys will go above and beyond (meaning: things not in their scope of actual responsibilities) for you if show some kindness/compassion/understanding. And that advice applies for everyone we encounter on a day-to-day basis. Golden rule and whatnot.. read more

An update: I am still at Acadia and enjoying it. I re-leased and was not hesitant to do so, especially since they did not raise my rent. Also, they gave me free carpet cleaning when I re-leased, which is standard for anyone who re-leases at Acadia. Most of my initial complaints have been resolved: cell phones work fine, got the A/C figured out, smoke alarms have not gone off. The staff is still helpful and friendly, and I've accidentally referred to my apartment as "home" a few times. I've lived comfortably, affordably, and safely here. Overall, I Approve and Recommend Acadia at Cornerstar. Remember, it's an apartment and not a luxury hotel. But seriously, get a garage if you choose to live here! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would! The staff are the most unorganized, unprofessional, and incompetent people I have ever had to deal with. We moved in, and they THREW AWAY our cashiers check for the deposit. We have paid rent on the dot, every single month and we come home to a letter saying we did not pay rent, even though we paid. All the parking is taken up by 6:00 every single night, including the guest lot. We have had to park in the 24 hour fitness lot overnight because of lack of parking spots. They do not enforce towing whatsoever, there are numerous abandoned cars taking up spots that have been there for several months, maybe even longer. When we reported the abandoned cars to the office, they said they weren't going to do anything about them. Even when we requested a garage, the wait list was months out, and when one became available it was in a completely different apartment building. I feel so unsafe walking home at night when I have to park 1/2 a mile away from my apartment. I would never recommend Acadia at Cornerstar Apartments to anyone. Have lived here for a year. Have not heard neighbors complaining about my kids making noise, nor I ever hear my neighbors. Assume I got lucky with really quiet neighbors. Also having a side unit helps. For maintenance had good experience as well. Had few urgent requests (like AC not working on a hot day or fire alarm sensor getting bad). Those happened during office hours,(went to the office) and i was able to get things looked at in half an hour. I also filed one maintenance request online on Sunday indicating that it was not urgent and that Monday or Tuesday would be fine times. And sure enough on Monday Clayton did an excellent job fixing things. I was nicely surprised, since few things that I have not mentioned in maintenance request got fixed as well on the same go. Parking is probably a not a fun part. Any time I come home late at night have to park at 24Hour fitness. I assume for those who come home late, the best option is to rent a garage probably for 100+$, or find neighbors who rent and would not mind you blocking their garage. We have been in this complex for almost a year now. We have really enjoyed it. Our apartment is great. It is a great size and has worked really well for our family. The administration staff have always been really helpful and and great at answering our questions. The manager Katie has been wonderful. The maintenance staff are amazing! They always explain what they are doing and get things done in a timely fashion. We have never had to wait to have an issue solved. We have even had to use the after hours line and had someone over right away to fix our issue. The parking is a hassle. It is well worth the cost to have your own garage to park in. This is my only complaint, but I would not move out because of it. read more

We have had a number of garage break-ins and theft in the complex (due to ineffective locks on doors), and their response has been that it's not their problem. I love my individual apartment but not the complex as a whole. It was fantastic when I first moved in (leasing office included. Actually I don't even want to give this place one star! Literally the worst complex with the worse management I have ever encountered. The leasing staff are extremely rude. The complex is not kept up, There is dog poop everywhere...even on the walkways. The parking situation is horrible...you will never find a place to park. These are the worst apartment I have lived at hands down. The parking here is awful, and they are very picky with vehicle rules. I had just bought a new car and had not registered it with the apartment. Within four hours, the towing company had already arrived to take my new car away. I understand it wasn't registered yet but 4 hours? In my year at Acadia, I can say that the staff here are the most impersonal, unkind people I have had the misfortune of having to interact with. I am now one of I'm sure hundreds of guests to have their car towed at this complex. Let alone the multiple hundreds of tenants. My friends who live here hate it and have nothing nice to say. The reviews are accurate. Stay far FAR away, and if you're visiting, call a Lyft. These people don't give two cares about you. I'm sure the complex gets a cut from the tow fees. read more

DO NOT MOVE HERE-This place is a trash can for your money! We moved in here contrary to the negative yelp reviews (that was our first mistake) and the staff (with the exception of one maintenance guy) is lazy and worthless. Sorry if that is harsh but it's the truth! The rent, after all the fees that they don't disclose to you, is insane. Not to mention the parking is a total joke! 24hr fitness should charge rent for all the parking spots that the residents have to take! They just got bought out by Acadia and now our new, $9/hr, GED educated staff is more worthless than the last group! Can't wait to move the f*ck out of this place!.... It's a very nice place to live. I spent three years here till they raised my rates almost $200 for a small one bedroom, so I didn't see the value in that anymore. But suffice what most of the scathing reviews say, I had a pretty good experience. It does come with downsides yes, but that's mainly due to who your neighbor(s) will be. The walls are indeed paper-thin. I had one neighbor who played loud rap music with a lot of bass but I could usually drown that out with the T.V., and another who had loud yappy little dogs that would bark at waiving grass. They seriously would never shut up, so that was super annoying. But hey, the owners pay rent too amiright? The parking is pretty horrible too unless you have a garage or a handicapped pass, even though it's assigned parking only. Otherwise, good luck. They also don't issue temporary parking permits. There were multiple times I would be in a rental car and they made me park at the front lot and my building was literally all the way on the other end of the complex, which I thought was utter B.S. Speaking of the parking lots, they are very dark at night. I am not sure if they do a lighting audit at all. My car has been hit twice and vandalized once. Also, the buildings electrical systems were wired by a third-grader. So, if you're having problems with your cable/internet service, it's probably their fault. Also, depending on your cellular provider you might not get a signal. I had AT&T and that was a huge problem for me. Take note of that if you go look at this place. Some of the ladies that work in the main office have been known to have attitude problems as well. So, document everything they say. However, most of the time they will be glad to help you. On the other hand, maintenance is quick and professional and the grounds are kept very clean. The breezeways are on a power washing schedule as well. They also offer 'free' trash removal. (I'm sure it's worked into your rent somehow) All you do is fill up the trash can they give you, set it outside your door after 6pm between Sunday and Thursday and they empty it for you. How cool is that? The units themselves are super nice with granite countertops and cabinet space for days. Literally a third of my place was a giant kitchen and I loved that. The tubs are soaker tubs as well, which is awesome, and my unit had laminate hardwood floors which are really easy to maintain. They all come with a full sized washer and dryer also. All this comes with a hefty price tag though, so keep that in mind. The cool thing is that the price they quote you is the price you will pay. They don't do any of that taking on extra charges for sewer, water and trash removal because they are fair and not an LRO like most of the neighboring properties. Lastly, the area is very nice and within walking distance from multiple restaurants, retailers, walking trails and parks. So, nothing will be out of reach for a resident. And a final word to the wise don't be one of those people who tries to get away with hiding a pet so you don't have to pay the extra deductible. I've seen it happen. They WILL find out because of the routine and preventative maintenance they conduct. Some would consider that a good thing. read more

Don't move here. Just don't, no parking, no help, nothin. Just got off the phone with them after my car was towed at 5am for parking on the curb(zero parking after 7pm), $300 tow fee, towed half an hour away and mirror smashed out. When I called to ask what they could do to help me they said "We're not supposed to tell anyone, but you can park at 24hour fitness across the street" Thats across the street from the complex, then across a field, then across the parking lot for 24hr fitness. When I asked if there was somehow another option they said a garage. But there are no garages around my building so im on a waiting list. Costs $90-120 for a garage, might as well get towed every so often. Not helpful at all, laughed when I was signing the lease and they couldn't find the paper work I needed them to give me. I have lived here for almost 5 years and have never had any problems. The maintenance guys are really awesome. They are quick, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I have been home when they have fixed things and appreciate they always explain why they did what they did. The manager and assistant manager are great and Barb one of the leasing assistants has been there awhile and is nice. Can't say the same for other leasing people that at times have been less professional and have had a low understanding of what customer service means. Several have had attitudes and are a bit rude. Perhaps that is why they are no longer there. Overall, Acadia has been a nice place to live. read more

BEWARE this place will be hell for you. I wish there was a way to give negative rating. This place is a f$&king cesspool if liars. From day one they were disrespectful and lied about shit like parking. Be ready to have your car towed! I bought a brand new VW the only car I had. Had it parked in a legal parking spot. It was towed the next day. Went to management to see if the can get the tow company to give me my new car back they said they could not do anything about it. Cost me $380 to get my car back plus $20 for Uber. Moved out in December and am owed a deposit refund cause I left the place spotless taking steps to ensure I get my deposit back. They said I owed for utilities? What utilities?? Electric was paid to Xcel Energy and water was included in the rent. Somehow though they made up a coast that I owed to utilities? The pool area is filthy and every time I took my daughter to the pool I had to clean it myself so the she can swim. One time management even came out and had the balls to say "maybe we should have you always clean it for us"!!!? Rats run around like they own the place and when they are killed they don't get pick up. Dog shit is literally everywhere! If you are in to this kind of stuff you will love it here!!! Typical apartment complex. Completely easy to rent and of course in the end they will take you for every penny they feel entitled to. We left after giving a 30 day notice. My daughter was out at the end of May. For some reason 6 months later I was turned over to collections. Apparently, the apartment was not rented to new renters until June 6 so Acadia decided to bill us for the 6 days of June! The collection company has made attempts to call Acadia to see why we were billed for these 6 days to no avail. I'm confused as to why Acadia didn't contact the 2 of us on the lease before sending to collections! I've had the same phone number for 20 years. I just paid off the collection company to the tune of $361...thanks Acadia. I wonder how many other renters you do this to. Also if you do rent here we had a few peeping tom incidents as my daughter had a ground level unit. She did report these. read more

Lie about denying you then keep your $100 deposit. I will not ever live at a Sentinel property after this experience. I have never been denied a apartment or asked to get a co-signer. But here your life is based off your last 2 pay checks not how much you have made that year. So if your on commission like I was and leaving the shop your working at obviously your taking in less work and making less as your time to move is coming up. Funny that another apartment that costs the same money approved me in 3 hours based off my year to date pay and my offer letter at my new shop yet this place only cares what you made the last 2 weeks. What kind of idiots came up with this. Well either way they lie about denying you and then steal your $100 deposit so be warned.
