I have two large dogs and grandchildren who play in the living room where the larger carpet is. When I say that the carpets were DIRTY and worn from the sun from not moving them around, is an understatement. I Googled oriental carpet cleaners in the area and thankfully, I came across Mori from Accents Galleria. Shaking his head at the condition my carpets were in, he said he'd try his best. Well, two weeks later and when he returned the carpets... amazing! The big one felt like I was walking on velvet and it was CLEAN, back to its pristine condition when I originally bought it. Same with the smaller one in my bedroom which was silk. I can't say enough good things about Mori from his kindness and caring personality to the excellent work he did for me. Now; my family history roots in Aleppo goes to 700 years ago, they are rugs fanatics,owned and collected oriental and tribal rugs for hundered of years, at home I learnt so much abour rugs, types, standards used to evaluate them.. an so on. I walked the afternoon of Saturday 11/23 /2019 to this rugs Gallery ,with only two of our own collection ( which I know exactly the source, type, age, value of both of them) and I intended to test gentleman knowledge and level of expertise so I can feel comfortable to buy and spend money at his Gallery to expand our (my husband and I) own collection. I thought if gives me the correct information about my rugs,I will definelty start buying. The gentleman turned to be a horrible business man and a crook! He gave me the correct type of one of the rugs but not the other, total failure to estimate the age and value for both of the rugs ( he probably thought I am selling them), however when I corrected for him on the age, he got furious and obnoxious and realized I have fair knowledge and I am not a random customer.I offered to buy right away similar or alike rugs to mine with the prices he was giving, he brought a terrible rug with 3 times the number of stiches per cm2 and with literary holes and terrible shape,and I told him you can not claim its the same , starting by stiches number then rug shape,condition,and age -- he literary started yelling at me and picked up my rugs rudly and disrespectfully and throw them in my face asking me to get out!!! Pathetic business man, realized that he is challenged and his level of expertise is poor and he is DISHONEST so he acted histrionically. One tip reveals how fake this trader is that only real rugs lovers and experts know it: a rug dealer will NEVER EVER step with his shoes on your rug specially if it is a praying size rug not area rug (not mentioning you are already telling them it is put on the lid of the piano). The real rug trader will ask you first if it is okay to walk with shoes on ur rug or you prefer them to be shoeless. I am so sorry - but this Gallery is not an honest business by any means. While we take the smaller ones down there, they will pick them up from Lawrence, and bring them back when done. They're usually in the area every couple of weeks from what I remember. I seem to remember a time frame of three or four weeks. Elizabeth who is the owner and the person we dealt with, is extremely knowledgable about everything to do with Oriental rugs from cleaning and mending to identifying them. If something doesn't need to be done, she will tell you. While it's expensive, remember it is a specialised service and everything is done by hand. They also have beautiful rugs to buy.

I worked out at the Gym next door and wanted to get my oriental rug cleaned and repaired so decided to try this local company. At first everything was great- they made arrangements to come and get my rug (which is over 14 ft long) that was great. They said they could clean it and repair it and have it back with in three weeks...3 WEEKS! Great- except here is where it all went down hill. Elizabeth is the one I dealt with who is also the owner- well they didn't come and get the rug as arranged and I changed my whole schedule in order to meet them- ok I though things happen no biggie- but then another week went by. They once again missed the pick up. Finally Elizabeth called me and had some apology and story and came the next day. I payed over $600 to get the rug cleaned. Fine I knew it would be expensive so it was supposed to take 3 weeks to have the rug cleaned. It took 7 weeks!!!! And she had an excuse after excuse and I was getting worried that maybe something happened... Finally they dropped it off and- that's when I ordered the padding- which was supposed to come after a week. That was the first week in December. I have yet to get the padding for the rug and paid for it weeks and weeks ago. Every time I call Elizabeth has some ridiculous excuse and claims that she was just going to call me. Unbelievable. Just the worst customer service ever. Can't wait to be done with them!
