Since the end of the year is nearing, I'm trying to finish up on some things I've been putting off. Thus, the purpose of this well-deserved review. This past August 2023 when it was blistering hot, my pregnant daughter's air conditioner went out. This occurred on a Saturday so I called a 24-hour service. That service came first thing Monday morning and told my daughter that her unit was so old that her entire system (both AC and furnace) needed replacing costing around $9,000. Before doing that, we needed a second opinion. So I immediately called Earl Bryant Heating & Cooling and Home Depot for replacement bids. Earl Bryant arrived fifteen minutes earlier than the scheduled appointment. The technician, Danny, said if I can fix it rather than replace it, I will. Danny also advised that the "entire" system (both AC and furnace) would not need to be replaced since one was gas and the other electric. That alone would save us considerably in cost. Danny disassembled and cleaned the entire unit and found the blower was burnt out. It was also low on Freon. Since he didn't carry this particular blower, he ordered it and went and picked it up. Danny installed the new blower, added Freon, and then waited to be sure the unit was cooling before leaving. Later that day, he called to make sure it was still cooling. I am so thankful that Danny/Earl Bryant Heating & Cooling came to our rescue. I am so sorry it's taken me this long to write this review but want others to know that you are a trustworthy and reputable company. You could have easily taken advantage of the situation costing us thousands of dollars. So we thank you for your honesty and service, it was greatly appreciated. read more

The company is tops to do business with. They are all about customer service and getting the job done right. Being a third generation family owned business says it all. They recently stepped up to help a disabled navy Veteran with AC problems. All labor and materials were donated without hesitation to help the Veteran live a little more comfortable. Had a new variable speed compressor HVAC installed when my 14 year old Trane's evaporator started leaking. Decided on a higher end model. Tech's were super knowledgeable, professional, courteous and installed new system the next day. Had an issue within the first month - and it turned out to be a bad board in the house. I wasn't impressed with Trane initially, but I was impressed with Earl Bryant's response. I arrived home from work - had the local Trane distributor along with the Earl Bryant installer at the house replacing a main board. The next day - the service manager and technician stopped by to make sure everything was fine. I will absolutely recommend Earl Bryant for HVAC work. They understand customer service - even when the customer is a bit frustrated. They went beyond to ensure the system was working - and even had the Trane rep at my house to discuss my concerns. If you need heating and A/C work in the area - look no further beyond Earl Bryant - and you will NOT be disappointed. read more

Last week (May 2022) the compressor on my air conditioner went out. My wife called Earl Bryant at Basehor since they were a local company and the unit was a Trane. Their technician came out later in the day and could not diagnose the issue. After multiple guesses - might be the capacitor; no, might be the start winding; no, might be the ..., he decided we needed to replace the compressor. It was in warranty. - not very old. He charged $300 for the service call which lasted one hour, and he didn't really ever determine what the problem was. He said they didn't know if they could get parts - "supply chain, you know" - but they could replace the whole unit. The next day their estimate was for over $2,100 TO REPLACE A COMPRESSOR THAT WAS IN WARRANTY! The also kindly included their cost to replace the unit. They did not offer to take the $300 service call off the repair. I used another Bonner Springs company; they charged a $99 service call, took it off the final bill, and only took 2 hours to replace the compressor, and saved me a thousand dollars. read more

Earl Bryant came on Friday to replace my air conditioner, heater, and humidifier. They did a great job, stuck it out when unexpected hurdles arose from how the individuals who owned the home previously had changed the system, and walked me through all of the equipment/my questions. Since the install, the equipment has worked perfectly, and is surprisingly quiet. I've had a lot of house projects lately and NONE of them have gone as smoothly as this. They showed up promptly when they said they would, and were able to accommodate my schedule. I would recommend Earl Bryant and will use them in the future. read more

I can't say enough great things about these guys! I had amazing correspondence with the girl in the office to set up an estimate after out AC went out on a Friday night. They got us working and we did a much needed replacement on our AC and heating system. I can guarantee our house hasn't ever been this comfortable and the temperature of the house hasn't ever been this even throughout our home since we moved in 5 years ago! Great company to do business with, top notch. My A/C died on a Saturday afternoon. Earl Bryant is my local company so I called them, they came out with in an hour on a day they were closed to get me fixed up. Unfortunately my system was shot so I needed to buy a whole new set up. I asked them for a bid to do the job they had it in my email that day and told me if I wanted to move forward they could install it on that Tuesday so 1 work days notice. I shopped 3 other Heating and Cooling companies for price before buying. Earl Bryant by far was the most responsive. The other places I had to make more than call and in some cases several calls just to get a price. It took me 4 days just to get bids from the other places. As I was going over the bids I had several questions and emailed them, the other companies were very slow to get back to me or didn't at all, TC at Bryant's responded to every email I sent with in 5-10 minutes. Comparing the prices Bryant's proposal was very competitive on price but more so they were engaged and helpful, they made me feel like my business mattered to them. I chose Earl Bryant's. They got my job scheduled quickly, came and installed it flawlessly, it's now working terrific. I couldn't be more pleased. Earl Bryant's has their act together, they are very good at what they do. Our AC unit was struck by lightning. It took Earl Bryant 5 trips out to our house to properly diagnose the problem, and repeated trips after that to correct their shoddy install job. My husband and I both work full time, so this was a huge inconvenience for us to leave work to meet up with them each time. Each time someone came out it was a new person, so we were constantly re-explaining things. One multiple occasions they didn't even have the freon levels correct, which caused issues. To me this seems like a relatively simple part of the process. I would never recommend this company. This review was written a year and a half after the lightning strike and I'm still irritated. read more

My ac\heating problems started over a year ago. They said they "fixed" my ac/ but then I said I wouldn't have any heat. Winter time comes and they come turn on my heat now it's summer again and guess what my a/c doesn't work. So they come out charge me 90 bucks and say they fixed it!
