When I filed a claim after my vehicle was totaled, the claims representative initially told me my claim would be covered. I relied on that information, only to later receive a letter denying coverage. My issue isn't simply that the claim was denied--I understand coverage decisions are based on the policy. My issue is the inaccurate and inconsistent communication I received throughout the process. I escalated my concerns to management, hoping someone would acknowledge the communication failure. Instead, the manager focused solely on defending the policy decision and completely ignored the fact that I had been given conflicting information from the beginning. After six years as a customer with four insured vehicles, I expected honesty, accountability, and professionalism. Instead, I was left feeling dismissed and undervalued. As a result, I canceled all of my Progressive policies and moved my business elsewhere. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Progressive.
