It's not a professional look. There is also way too much coverage on political matters. I am going back to Good Day.

Almost a week ago I had the opportunity to join my daughter for an in-studio segment at Studio 40 Live with Gary Gelfand and Scott Moak focusing on local small businesses. She was one of the featured entrepreneurs and I was just there to assist her. My assignment was to take pictures and videos during the segment LoL! At the time we were setting up, I got to see how a studio operated behind the scenes. It's actually pretty cool. Sonseeahray Tonsall was the anchor doing the midday news at the studio. I was careful not to get in the way of the one-man camera crew while broadcasting... there were a lot of countdown cues for when she needs to get back on live from a cut to a news interview from the field or from a commercial break. My daughter did her segment along with four others scheduled that day, cameras shifted focusing from one corner to another... ahh, so that's how they do it. Although I don't watch the news much the experience was cool and interesting. I get my news from Facebook LoL! This is FOX 40 Live... and that's a wrap. Review #2756

"OUTSTANDING STUDIO RECORDING FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE PSAs"…read more SIT-REP My Department (CA Dept of Social Services) is venturing further into ONLINE interfacing with our licensed-careprovider community. In this instance, the Child Care Program of Community Care Licensing (CCL) is leading the way in putting together an online orientation. In the past, prospective licensees would need to come to one of our regional offices throughout the state and sit in on an IN-PERSON orientation put on by one of Licensing Program Analysts (an LPA - a Licensing Enforcement Officer) and this was a necessary pre-requisite before gaining a license with the state. However, these sessions were already few and far between and with continuing budget cuts and staff prioritizations, more LPA time is needed in the field investigating complaints. THE SET-UP The ORIENTATION process became an assignment for our Central Training Section (CTS) work unit - coordinated by my fellow colleague (and fellow YELPer) KEN, and the merging of new tech has now allowed us to promote the greater efficiency of making the orientation an online process. Employing much of the same online-templates like online traffic school modules and online credit card payment features, CCL is setting up it's own online orientation process. Many of the features of our online orientation require pre-recorded video segments for each of the orientation-training components. Since this is an online process that will be used and navigated by hundreds of thousands of Californians, it became obvious we would need professional video-production expertise to help CDSS put together the video-component of our Online Orientation project. KVIE Channel 6 put together a comprehensive package for CDSS to for this video production. * We had access to their Television studio to create the video segments * We had access to their expert staff both in the studio and the control room to run the production * They flew in MARCY VALENZUELA of Phoenix's KPHO CBS Channel 5 News Team to provide the video introductions and component intros for each part of the orientation * They provided a comprehensive TelePrompTer services that transcribed a script out of our program bullet points We were also in-studio to offer program assistance as necessary, usually to clarify program statements and functions provided by CCL. THE LOWDOWN Kudos to KVIE Channel 6 for providing an efficient and sophisticated studio-recording environment and for assisting CCL in producing our online orientation video segments. On a related note, if anyone is interested in getting further information about CCL, about how to apply for a license in Child Care, Adult Care and Elderly Care, or other aspects of licensed care, please feel free to visit our evolving website at: http://www.myccl.ca.gov/

They were in sinc with CH 2.3 from S.F. 2 is a Fox station so they must sell "packages", obviously with some more expensive to run than others. This was a class act for broadcast TV for both networks and areas. 2.3 took the high road and kept that programming and 58.2 went to crap. Lame old westerns that didn't make it in the 60s and 70s are repeated over and over...if you're lucky. More likely it will be infomercials on a continuous loop. WHO WATCHES THOSE?? Why are they allowed to vote? (It's possible they don't exist, that they HAVE to broadcast something by law) I haven't been back. AND NOW for 58.1. Tonight they cancelled "Big Bang Theory" and "The Simpsons" for Home Improvement and some other unwanted garbage. Garbage also repeated on a continuous loop FOR YEARS. So...for me...I finally have no reason to watch anything with the number 58 in it. First it was like they thought nobody was watching, but it's clear now that they don't really care. It's easy with your remote to "unclick" the channels you don't want to land on anymore. Problem solved. And look into a better antenna, or at least TRY to get some bay area channels. They are more available to your home than you think. You'll never look back.
