She complained so loudly about me that I heard her 20 feet away in the waiting room. Melinda Blase (Officer Manager) acknowledged her comments, but did not apologize for the excessive wait nor the slander from her direct report. I felt disrespected and as if my patronage was an inconvenience. If staff is unable to perform their duties and unable to behave with discretion, what other gaps exist for other patients? This is the third consecutive instance of front desk failure at Walbert Ave. within the past year which leads me to believe this is a direct failure of management, accountability, and the ability to CARE for patients.

Nurse Mary, Norma, Kim and Vicki are always extremely compassionate and helpful. Stacy, Niki and Raquel are easy to talk with. In addition to Kevin and Lauren. Dr Javid and Christa take the time together listen. Audrey has a wealth of insight.... I felt extremely fortunate that psychiatry resident Dr Rahman was there as well. The last time I worked with her was last year in the behavioral health unit. In my opinion, she will make an excellent psychiatrist.

My family returned to the Caring Connection for a second elderly loved one in need of some in-home…read morecare. The first experience was pretty smooth because of my mother- law's mellow personality. She had Parkinson's which was a difficult disease to deal with physically. The caregivers were kind and respectful to her. We also trusted them in our home. More recently, my mother has gone through some quick changes with her mental capabilities after a serious operation. Physically, she does well and is very independent. Caring Connection has been extremely flexible with us scheduling hours and re arranging their caregivers to my mother's pickiness. She has been very difficult in not wanting to lose her independence. These kind people have visited my mom in a Sr. Community where she is in Independent Living. They are helping to keep her there. Wella, Barb, Jonathan, and Susan (social worker) have all been wonderful with giving my family guidance as we deal with this difficult situation. We tried other services in the past and none of them were as knowledgeable, flexible and most importantly caring to each individual needing the care. I highly recommend the Caring Connection. HH

I can't describe what my family is going through right now with this school--I had to pull both of…read moremy children out last week from the Pre-K program. Not only did my son not grow academically while he was here, he was belittled and humiliated for having an accident at school by one of the teachers. Another teacher accused him of touching other children "inappropriately" while playing "doctor"--(which the students are not supposed to play, but the teacher in that classroom is so disorganized and lazy that she doesn't supervise the kids--bottom line is no adult saw anything, they just wanted him out because he has an IEP and challenged them...). This was our final straw....we pulled our children out and have them already enrolled in another school. I feel awful for my kids for having to start in a new setting halfway through the year, but I know it will be for the best. Since pulling them out, many other parents are now sharing their horror stories with me about this place and are pulling their kids too! Unless they change leadership and some of the teachers, I urge you to look elsewhere!
