He matched her up with Ashley who did an amazing job in preparing my daughter in a short amount of time to get her English SAT score to improve from her last test. I used Access Test Prep because our school's physics teacher was way below par and not certified.. Resulting in a rough start for our daughter who has a 4.3, but this needed help. I used Michael Mullen who came highly recommend by another parent and I can't say enough positive attributes about him! He is outstanding! He has complete command of his subject matter, both depth and scope, is able to teach to a variety of learners, has an extremely inviting personality to both teens and adults, and is flexible. I was looking for a tutor that could help my child improve on a specific section of the ACT as he has already taken the test and we were satisfied with his scores on the other sections. Access Test Prep was not willing to listen to our specific needs: they basically offered to start pretty much from scratch and required a minimum of two 90-minute sessions per week. Their rates vary from $125 to $435 per hour based on the tutor's past performance in improving test scores meaning between $1,500 and $5,220 per month. I am disappointed by such aggressive sales tactics that are reminiscent of what you might experience at a car dealership. read more

I am a mother of three with my youngest entering her senior year of college. When the boys were preparing for the SAT/ACT I did what most parents do in the Walton School District, I entered them in one of the group classes. My boys did not improve their scores. When it was time for my youngest to prepare for her ACT/SAT I did more research and decided to use Access Test Prep. My daughter worked with Donna, the tutor that a few of my friends children used. Access was different than the programs I had researched. My daughters sessions were private and Donna's lesson plans were 100 percent planned for Maxie's needs. Donna took a personal interest in my daughter believing that a connection makes a difference on how the students perform. Maxie's scores went up significantly. Maxie plays college tennis for a Division 1 School. They assign free tutors for all of Maxie's classes. Maxie called me a few times requesting that I contact Access Test Prep and hire one of the academic tutors to skype with Maxie while she was on the road playing for her school, instead of using the free tutors the school provided. Each time Maxie skyped with an Access Test Tutor she ended up earning an A in her course. This summer Maxie is back at Access Test Prep preparing for her MCAT's. One of my son's was preparing for his GMAT's and we decided to use Access Test Prep. We hired Clarinda. Not only did our son's score go up enough to be able to get into a prestigious Grad School program but with Clarinda's help he received a forty percent scholorship. read more

Our son worked with charles for several months preparing for the SAT and the ACT. Since we live out of town they "met" via skype. the arrangement worked very well and our son's ACT improved significantly with the help of tutoring with Charles. We also had a "college counselor" helping our son with college applications, but by far, Access Prep was the best money we spent. we would highly recommend this company. In the end our son was accepted to his top college choices. Throughout the process and now in retrospect now that it's over, Charles give us very accurate guidance. read more
