The staff was so welcoming and caring and it really felt like each day we were taking him to our family member's home to be cared for. Our son has been at Oxford Babies for 2 years now and we've moved out of the area -- saying goodbye to this amazing team was hard for us and for them (lots of tears between us on the last day!) They really loved our son as we have. They have watched him grow, helped us through many of those crazy stages in the first few years, and have felt like a team of second moms to my husband and I. The Oxford Babies staff truly cares about each of the children there. We have watched our son grow tremendously under their care and I cannot say enough good things about them!

Being first time parents, we felt extremely comfortable leaving our little girl in the care of wonderful, sweet and compassionate teachers. We like the smaller ratio of teachers to babies versus other schools. The price was also a big plus compared to others in the area, like Primrose. Our daughter loves going to school every day and all of the teachers love on our daughter by teaching her everyday. We are so blessed to have found Oxford!

When we arrived to pick up our belongings they were left outside the door. The entire experience felt cold and unempathetic, and it was clear that the well-being of the children was not a priority. We wanted to share our experience in hopes of saving others from going through the headache we endured. In hindsight, it was probably the best thing that happened to us. As no parent wants their child in an unsafe environment.

Our daughter…read morehas been attending this school since she was 18 months old and now she's 5 and is getting ready to start Kindergarten at one of the top private schools in Georgia. It is a very academically driven school and we loved every bit of it. The teachers are very hands-on and they actually CARE and take time to work with the kids and it shows. To name a few, Ms. Carol and Ms. Carmen has taught her to be the smartest, sweetest, and most well-behaved kid from the start. Now, Ms. Jordan and Ms. Kelly has her well prepared for the next level. Everyday our daughter impresses us with what she has learned and is very excited to go back to school day after day. You wouldn't believe how many compliments we get when we're out, about how smart, polite, and well mannered she is. We definitely owe a large part of that to this school and its incredible how she stands out amongst other kids of her age. Believe me, you will definitely be able to tell the difference. This school has an excellent track record for success. Just about every kid of her graduating class was accepted to their first pick private school. Ms. Tammy and Ms. Kirsten's vision is very focused and their recipe for success is impressive. The kids are surrounded by other great kids, so you can imagine the atmosphere of this school. The environment is very clean, bright, and most importantly, safe. There is an armed SWAT, police officer who is ALWAYS on duty when they are inside the school and especially along with them when they are outside. It definitely makes us feel better. Bottomline, this is a great school for early childhood academic development and we highly recommend Buckhead Prep SMV.

After moving to this part of Atlanta recently, I was amazed at the cost/waitlist/class size of many daycares in the area. I "interviewed" several places and was starting to question whether or not I was going to find a place that I felt comfortable taking my kids to everyday. The Goddard School Austell is the same place my niece and nephew went 8 years ago and without question is the best! Mrs. Lauren was immediately warm and welcoming inviting us in to see this "family feel" preschool. She is always open for conversation, empathetic, real, transparent and a parent herself. She employs a staff that also models those qualities. If we have ever had a concern about our children (potty training, bottle weaning, tantrums etc)... they are all there to assist, work with us and ultimately foster love, patience, knowledge and kindness in our babies! They have a curriculum that is followed and emailed monthly. Daily reports are sent out over a phone app making it easy to check in on the kids each day. Healthy breakfasts and catered (healthy) lunches are provided each day, along with snacks in between. They have nice playgrounds that the kids love playing on when it is nice outside and a large open gym to run around in when it is raining or too cold to be outside, with a built in rock climbing wall, what?! Along with the day-to-day activities, they are always doing special things around the holidays for the kids/parents (Christmas program, Easter egg hunt, Valentines, etc). I honestly could go on and on about all the ways The Goddard School Austell is a phenomenal daycare... but most importantly, I don't have to question what type of care my little ones are getting. I know in my absence they are being loved, nurtured, comforted and allowed to grow, learn and explore in a warm and caring environment...every day. I will not take them anywhere else and will be very sad when they have to leave. Thank you all at Goddard Austell!

One day, I saw a teacher spray water toward my child's face with a spray bottle. I understood that spray bottles may have been used outside to help cool children off in the summer, but what I saw concerned me enough that I asked administration for a meeting to better understand the policy and whether spray bottles were ever used for anything other than cooling off. When I spoke with Lauren, I did not feel my concern was received well. The conversation focused more on my wording and whether I was accusing the school of abuse than on giving me clarity about what I had seen. I left the conversation feeling that my concern as a parent had been met defensively rather than constructively. Because of that interaction, we withdrew our child that day. I had a positive impression of some parts of Goddard overall, but based on my experience with this specific location, I would not personally recommend it.

If you would have asked me my opinion of Primrose in 2023, I would have given them an extremely positive review. However, in 2025, I would not say the same. I pre-registered my youngest daughter for the 2025/ /2026 school year in February 2025. I paid the deposit in April 2025. However, despite my address being exactly the same in Procare as it was when my eldest daughter was previously enrolled, I never received registration paperwork from the school, despite my emailing and asking the new director, Danielle Nash, several times. When I went to the meet and greet about a week before school started, my daughter was not placed in a classroom. She did not have a seat, a backpack, or supplies ready. Not only this, but her name was spelled incorrectly, despite me spelling her name correctly on the pre- registration paperwork. It was at this point that I was already having a bad feeling about enrolling my daughter at Primrose. On the first day of school all of my daughter's things were tagged with the wrong name and she was called the wrong name all day despite her telling the teachers her correct name. The school is completely disorganized. When I reached out and emailed Miss Nash about my concerns, she did not reply. Not only did she not reply, but for the rest of the month my daughter was enrolled, she seemed to be giving me the cold shoulder. Everyone else at the front desk, Miss Odom, in particular, were extremely friendly and welcoming. The final straw for me was when my daughter fell at school. I understand accidents happen. However, I did not receive an incident report. I only received a brief message on Procare. The message did not stress how serious the injury was or how my daughter was feeling. Nobody cleaned or bandaged my daughter's wound. The level of thoughtfulness and care that used to be present at Primrose are no longer. I am not sure if it is the staff changes or management issue, but the school is extremely disorganized. I can no longer in good faith recommend the school.
