Sarah did an amazing job by going the extra mile with her customer service. A few hiccups, but overall their work was excellent. My son is incredibly happy with his varsity jacket and it looks great! A few things to note: an invoice at the time of drop off to verify the transaction would be preferred, as there is no documentation given at the time of drop off. Secondly, the consultation was really great, just make sure every detail is stated on the invoice (which is why invoices at the time of drop off is preferred) so nothing is forgotten about or overlooked. So I had a MLB jersey that I wanted customized, the dugout did not do customizing for this specific jersey so per them you need to find a 3rd party vendor to do what you want, all I wanted was to throw a number on it and have my last name easy request, but per them they don't have the lettering to make it happen. So I started looking around, several mom and pops shops, laundry mats first to see if they can do it, they can dry clean and do repair stitching not custom jobs unless you provide them with the lettering. So I started looking at custom print shops, they can do screen print so not stitching, to then I came across this place and checked some of their work showing custom jerseys for little leagues and adult leagues, these are not screen print, they were stitched, gave them a call and drove down and asked if they could do it, their reply of course. On their site was one particular picture that made me choose them even before I got there, the grey and orange custom RATS jersey, similar to SF Giants colors, thought to myself if they can do that with a basic jersey what can they do with a real one, glad I found out. Very happy with their work, during the process and mock up, they asked how large lettering should be, placement, and sent me pictures of what it would like once completed, but waited for approval to start, very seamless process, if you needed to make something higher or lower, bigger or smaller they did it, doesn't look right to your eye tell em, this number should be lower or this text should look more like this, can you space it more or bring it in more, they did all of this. Very professional, very helpful, I will need to bring more project to them. They seem to be disorganized, they take longer than they promised and the work they did was very poor, as you can see in the pictures. I dropped off my MLB authentic jersey to have tackle twill numbers sewn on the back. With shipping and taxes, the jersey, direct from MLB Shop, cost me $350.00. The first red flag was they didn't give me an invoice at the time I dropped it off. They should have given me an invoice stating precisely what I dropped off, when I dropped it off, expected completion date and exactly what they intended to do to it, (materials, sewing, etc...). While standing at their front desk I asked if I could send Lexy an email and if she would respond stating that she has the jersey. I unfortunately didn't ask her to state what she was going to do to it. However, I asked for tackle twill numbers, I didn't expect iron on numbers. As you can see, the work performed is substandard and it doesn't match the proof that she emailed me. I asked for tackle twill numbers but instead what they did was do tackle twill for the 2 outlines and cheap iron on for the main part of the number. This is not what I asked for. It's a $350 authentic MLB jersey, why would anyone put iron on numbers on an authentic jersey? I asked Lexy why she did that. She said she wanted to match the front and that it would look good. It doesn't match the front and it doesn't look good. You can also see that the numbers are too high. I don't want my name on the back, at this time, but what happens in the future if I decide to put my name on it? There's only 2" of space between the stitching below the MLB logo and the top of the numbers. Letters for the last name are usually 3" tall. The numbers would need to be removed and lowered. This is a complete butcher job. What they have offered is to sew white tackle twill numbers on top of the iron on numbers. Unacceptable. The only positive is they charged me $25 instead of the quoted $50. Still, it isn't what I wanted and it's sub standard. Had they offered to do if for free at the time I dropped it off I would have declined because it's not what I wanted and it's garbage. Are other customers happy with their products and service? It appears they are. I however am not, and by the pictures I've posted you can see why. I highly recommend that you look elsewhere if you need this kind of work done because they seem to be hit or miss. Here's 2 email I received: "Hi Keith ! So sorry for the delay here I thought I had sent this over to you - this is the closest font we have to the jersey! Let me know if you approve!" I didn't approve because it looked nothing at all like the font used on the front. The font I did approve you can see in the included pictures. "Hi Keith! I just wanted to apologize again that you didn't get what you expected for your jersey, it's really bothering me. I thought I was making it cool to match the front and doing the right thing but DEFINITELY should've asked you (the jersey owner and customer) first. I was having an especially stressful week and didn't manage my time well. Please don't hesitate to bring it by anytime and I can add the white twill while you wait and we'll make it perfect for you.
