They open around 2pm, just in time for you to finish your lunch and stroll on over. The flavours are wonderful, easily the best I had while and better than anything in London. Their house flavour is a wonderful mix of custard and chocolate, a definite winner. They do takeout and it's done by the weight, choose your polystyrene container and they will fill it with as many flavours as you want, and you do get a hefty amount of ice cream. But it doesn't last long, it will get eaten. One thing that they also do is fill a brioche bun with ice cream, it's done elsewhere but this was the first place I tried it. MIND BLOWN. It's…read morehard to miss--it's storefront is decorated with several blue patio chairs, a tuft of artificial grass, and a life-size plastic cow that stole my heart. One day I decided to hop off a few stops early and finally try the place. Service could be better--I waited several minutes before I was helped. However the gelato was delicious--the best strawberry I've had in Italy. Very good value, too. Mordilatte says it uses all natural ingredients, and it shows from the quality of the gelato. Bonus points for its location, too, giving a chance for people to get a quality treat outside the city center.
