They didn't just sit there, ask me the same questions you'd find on a tax return form, fill it out on the computer then send me off on my merry way. I actually had a conversation with them about the ins-and-outs of my job. We worked out what I could tax deduct, depreciate and how else I could get the best tax return possible. They even allow you to submit all your info online if you can't make it in. God bless technology. Sure, Banks Group may cost a little more than a regular account, but it's tax deductable. Plus tax time no longer makes me hate my life, so it's all worth it. I'll consider writing a review for that other place I went to the first time, but I'm afraid there'll be too many swear words and it'll be taken down anyway.

On a recent trip to Melbourne I came to this branch to check my accounts. It was a bit of a wait (weekday lunchtime) but I was assisted by a lovely women who took me through my accounts, refunded some money that was owing, and taught me about the concept of ANZ rewards. Staff were helpful, friendly and I left feeling happy with my accounts (I live in the UK now so it kind of just sits there). I've not had any dramas with my bank over the years and this particular branch was very helpful.
